Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant in the mountains offering some vegan food and drinks with foraged rainforest ingredients. This cafe is the result of a social-change initiative instigated by the owners to educate native Samoans about the dangers of a meat-heavy western diet and suggest ways to make healthy vegan foods from local ingredients. Mostly vegetarian/vegan - peaceful spot!

We stayed at their airbnb and visited the restaurant for breakfast and ice cream a few times. The menu is mostly vegetarian and vegan since one of the owners is vegan. Two vegan breakfast options that we tried were muesli with plant-based milk and fruits as well as the buckwheat waffles with fruits. Both was tasty! Also tried their homemade chocolate, cinnamon and passion fruit ice cream. Highly recommend this place, loved the chill vibe and cool air due to the altitude.

Perfect vibes amazing food

Their vegan musaka was nourishing and the energy of the place was so lovely. Beautiful view, and the basil lemonade both wowed and refreshed. A must visit.

Very good local food

They don't have everything that's on the menu. The veggie curry was perfect. Very nice environment. Nice stop on the cross island road, recommended.

Stunning Food - best in Samoa

The owners of Tiapapata Art Centre have developed an amazing menu here at this oasis in Samoa - this was by far the best food I ate during 10 days on the island. The majority of the menu is vegan, with only a few menu items offering fish. The curry tasting plate (3 vegan curries with rice and a green-leaf chapati) is particularly recommended - try the Jackfruit, green beans, and pineapple curries and daal! Also delicious is the turmeric drink and fresh lemongrass tea. Definitely talk to Wendy, the owner, to get an idea about the vegan thinking behind the cafe, it's very interesting! Also available is a little cookbook so you can make the curries at home😄
