Chaotic local veg food - Edit
We came around 8 pm on a weekday, and it was chaos.
Read moreYelling, multiple orders coming and going... it was a cool experience, for sure.
We ordered 2 dishes, the fake pork noodles were super tasty, the tumeric noodles were ok.
We would eat there again to try something else.

Bánh bao was just what I was after. It doesn't taste like dairy (as stated in another review). It's does have sweetness to it. Perhaps a little more than some other baos.
Read moreAlso reconfirmed that no dishes contain egg, dairy or honey (using google translate).
Shredded 'chicken' and rice was flavourful, though I found the texture to be a little odd it was good and I would order it again. The soup it comes with was delicious.
I agree with other comments saying the service isn't all that friendly but they weren't rude either.
So the service was okay.
They turned the fan on promptly and she waited for us to read the menu and order. As others have mentioned, they don't speak english - use google translate if you have questions. Point to the Vietnamese name on the menu.
Meals came out quick.
The establishment is as clean as many other Vietnamese eateries, I'd say it was actually a little cleaner than some of the others we've been to. No ants or other critters were on the table or on the food. Noting that we attended around 11 am.
The food was super cheap.

I came over a few days. Had the pho, the hue, a bao bun, and the roasted chicken with rice. The hue was my favorite.

A real find - this place gives proper com ga ro ti!! I really enjoyed my mock chicken, though it and the rice were cold. The pho was hot and delicious, though

Fast, cheap, basic - Edit
A simple, bare-bones restaurant with very cheap Vietnamese food on offer. We were astonished at how fast our order was brought out, literally within less than a minute. Sounds great until you realise that’s barely time to heat it in a microwave, so it definitely won’t have been cooked fresh. Everything tasted OK but was lacking in flavour. The ’chicken rice’ was plain and dry and the curry was very sweet and had an unappetising gloopy texture. The pho was the nicest of the dishes we tried, fresh and herby although still a little bland.

Lots of noodles and rice dishes - Edit
The servers don’t speak English but there is an English menu on the table. You can sit at a table with other people, it seems to be communal seating. The noodle bowl I got was good. I wish there were more options that were more very vegetable based rather than noodle and rice based however.

Deftiges, bodenständiges Essen - Edit
Leckere, vegetarische Variationen klassischer vietnamesischer Gerichte. Allerdings kann man nicht aus vielen verschiedenen Beilagen auswählen, sondern "nur" zwischen den vielen ganzen Gerichten. Die sind allerdings so günstig, dass man sich auch mehrere davon bestellen kann😉

Good quick chay - Edit
Pretty bare-bones place, little grimy but no big deal. Next to no English spoken by staff, but the menu does have English translations of the dishes. Drinks not listed on the menu when I went, only food.
Read moreHad mock "pork" noodles and steamed bao. Food was pretty typical chay, nothing mindblowing but it was prepared quick and tasty enough, and the price was right. Not 100% sure the bao was vegan; I used a translate app to ask if the dough contained milk, and they said no, but it tasted like it did. Otherwise fine.

Best food I've had in Da Nang - Edit
If you're offended people live in the back, or that it's not sparkly clean, or if for some reason you think they should be the one able to speak English and not the other way around... Then maybe you should go to one of the overpriced tourist traps littering the streets a few block over.

Cheap food, rude waitress, dirty plates - Edit
The food came very fast. Impossible that it’s freshly made. The waitress was soooo rude. No smile. No hello. No nothing. The only time she smiled was when I gave her a tip regardless of her rude behaviour. The food was decent sized but the plates were dirty and I found a few „extras“ inside.

Very minimal meal - Edit
Staff is frustratingly uncapable of English.

Quick, filling vegetarian food - Edit
The food was tasty and very filling, also an excellent price. I paid just 35,000 for noodle soup and a big dumpling. However I agree with other reviews, the food came a little “too” fast (ie, how long had it been sitting prepared? All day?) and the staff were not very welcoming.

Unbelievable - Edit
Wow, not sure what to say. There’s a family that lives in the back of the restaurant who were shouting the entire meal. They also had crying babies.
Read moreThe staff were among the most nonchalant I’ve ever met and won’t say a word to you. No smiles - nothing. Our table was dirty when we came in and they didn’t even bother to clear the previous people‘s dishes until we asked.
It’s nice when food comes fast, but when four dishes are brought out within 30 seconds of ordering, it’s a little “too” fast.
The food was among the worst I’ve had during my three weeks in Da Nang. Avoid this place!
Pros: Short wait time😉
Cons: Rude staff, Bad food

Cheap, quick, local vegan food - Edit
We went here a bunch of times while in Da Nang. The staff aren't the friendliest, the floor can sometimes be a mess from the hoards of locals who come for lunch, but we liked the food. Big menu, everything comes out quick, and their banh xeo are big and tasty. 25,000 dong for most meals, the menu is under the glass of the table so can be hard to point out what you want, I'd just write it on my phone if they didn't understand. Would recommend for a cheap and easy lunch if you're in the area.
