Very reasonable prices and delicious meals. I bought two entrees and a beer for 120,000. The woman who serves speaks English well enough to share and describe the ingredients in the dishes offered.

I found Thien Tam - Passionate Heart Vegetarian through the HappyCow app and immediately bookmarked it for my food exploration. In May 2024, I walked 1 km from my stay to visit this small, humble eatery, and it was absolutely worth the effort!

Her eagerness to cater to my preferences made the experience even more special. The prices were incredibly affordable, but the food quality was top-notch.
I ordered Quang Noodles and Coconut Coffee, and while the meal was delicious, the Coconut Coffee truly stole the show—it was the best I had in my entire Vietnam trip (from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi via Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Hoi An)! Creamy, rich, and uniquely flavorful—a must-try for coffee lovers.
For those looking for authentic home-cooked vegetarian food with a soul, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Lots of vegan Vietnamese food - Edit
There was a good selection of vegan versions of traditional dishes, which is great to try. The bowl of pho I had was big and filling. I would not say the taste was mind blowing, but it was still nice and I think this is more of a subjective thing. The lady was lovely and she also spoke pretty good English, which is not the most important thing but was a little bonus. I would recommend this restaurant 100%.

Wir waren heute bei diesen kleinen und unauffälligen Restaurant essen aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es gibt sehr viele vegetarische Speisen und es schmeckt sehr gut! Sie Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und bemüht! Es dauert auch nicht lange und die Portionen sind groß und es is sehr günstig! Also auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

The place is not big, the road is busy, but the food is tasty and unexpensive, really made with passion. The friendly lady speaks English and is helpful with the menu. There is also a choice of good drinks, I appreciated coconut water, coconut coffee and ginger tea (hot or cold).

Saw great reviews of this place and unfortunately so many dishes were sold out! (Sad for me and great for them)! However the dish they did have was one of the best in Vietnam. And the spring rolls were incredible

I really enjoyed my experience here. I asked the lady (owner?) what she recommended and she suggested the Banh Mi and some other dishes but I wasn’t sure because I hadn’t enjoyed a Banh Mi I’d had elsewhere. I decided to order it though and see if she could alter my experience of vegan Banh Mi and she did!!
Read moreTotally delicious, a kind of pate I believe, some sauce, some chunks of vegan meat, some cucumber and veg all in a crusty bread roll. I also had the fried spring rolls which had a vegan meat inside similar to duck in texture. Delicious and very reasonable prices, I think about 75 or 85K VND for both dishes total.
Restaurant is open with some sheltered seating, small and tucked away from the main roads. Absolutely go here!

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! 2 Hauptgerichte, 2 Bier und Wasser um 145.000 Dong. Die Besitzer sind sehr süß und bemüht. Das Lokal selber ist nicht so toll eingerichtet, aber eben typisch vietnamesisch. Es kamen auch einige Einheimsche für ein Essen To-Go vorbei. Essen war ausgezeichnet.

Best food in all of Vietnam - Edit
They put so much love in to their food here❤️ I came here about 3 times in a row, first time I tried the banh mi I got two more because it was so delicious. The owners are such kind and lovely people! They make every single thing from scratch, it really feels like you’re eating a family cooked meal.

We loved this very authentic small Vietnamese restaurant! Such a friendly accommodating owner! So inexpensive for a lot of food:) She makes all of her veg meats and is dedicated to being a vegan chef. Everything we had was tasty and she stays open late.

Read moreMe and my friends had the vegan fish noodles, Hue noodles, bread soup, quang noodles, chicken rice, Bún cha and Banh Mi so far and I can really say, that you can't take a mistake by ordering you food. Everything is simply delicious!
But the dish that shocked me the most was a side dish called "Nem chua"! I loved it so much as a kid and was sure, that I couldn't eat it ever again, beacuse the original is pure meat but the vegan option in Passionate heart tasted 100% the same💗 It's the side dish in the picture, that looks like red cubes
I would really just come for the food to Da Nang hahah and I really love the owners, talking to them is just very comfy and you know, that they make everything from scratch with so much love

Popped by here for some sandwiches. They were delicious. Made with a special pate, mock meats, herbs etc. They also have quite a few other options. Cheap and owner is nice and friendly. It’s listed as Passionate Heart on google maps and has this as one of their names on the restaurant sign
