A nice place.

There's every fake meat possible, and it's dirt cheap. For 40K you'll eat a whole bowl of noodles and lots of tasty things in it.

Pros: plenty of vegan options, cheap, not far from the cheapest hostel

Cons: only one young lady spoke English

Delicious, high quality and affordable

Note that the map is wrong (as of February 2019). Google thinks it's quite a lot further west than it actually is.

I go to this restaurant a few times a week and I'm never disappointed. The food is good, the prices are low, the family who run it are always welcoming, and even when it's busy I've never waited more than 10 minutes to get food (as in both order the food, and receive it). This place isn't fancy but if you're looking for somewhere cheap and simple I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff don't speak any English but you'll have no trouble pointing at things to explain what you want.

The first section of the menu, thực đơn, is food. The second section, nước giải khát, is the drinks list, although they also sell Pepsi and one or two other things. I've tried all of the food and I particularly recommend the bún huế, bún riêu and bánh bao. The cơm thập cẩm is also good. Sometimes they have a special on, e.g. curry (spelt ca ri).

Unlike most cơm chay places, they also sell bánh bao (Chinese style steamed buns) - they're not on the menu but you can see them in the cart out the front.

Be warned, the chilli sauce in the jar on every table (not the squeezy bottle) is very hot!

Pros: High quality food, Friendly staff, Cheap prices

Cons: Limited menu, No English menu or English speaking staff
