Plenty of options but underwhelming

Was quite pleased to see the vegan menu but as the sole vegan didn't want two mains and a side for lunch. Ordered the vegan burger. Everyone in the party seemed to get something substantial with some care whilst the burger was a tiny patty (bought in brand you could get in supermarket). Put on a bun with a tiny bit of ketchup. Felt like I paid the 'vegan tax' and left hungry, zero effort put in to making something nice.

Has put me off going again.

Pros: Seperate vegan menu

Cons: Pricey for what it is, Small portion

Amazing vegan food!

We tried out the Theatre Street Bar and Grill on Saturday 12 November 2022. We were lucky to get a table, but they managed to accommodate us. They have a totally separate vegan menu which is great-no need to have to quiz the staff! We went for the two mains plus one side for £16.95. The dishes are a grid size for tapas. We had a no chicken Thai curry, two mushroom dishes and the tortilla chips plus patatas bravas and ciabatta garlic bread…..it was all so good we were half way through before I thought about a photo, so sorry for that! All very tasty and there was nothing left at all. My only complaint was the lack of vegan desserts. They only had a champagne sorbet which didn’t inspire me, but I was pretty full anyway!

Pros: Full vegan menu., Reasonably priced, Good service.
