Beautiful AND Delicious

I can’t say enough good things about this place. This is one of the top vegan places in the greater San Diego area - easily. The Yasai is a place that proves that you absolutely don’t need to eat animal products to have a fantastic meal. Every single item on this menu is so artfully crafted (yes, I’ve had everything) and delicious. The nigiri sampler is, by far, the most unique/fun/special item at this place, and I’m always impressed by it. Stressed Out is the most popular item among my friends for the taste. I feel like I am having a fine dining experience with how stunning these dishes are. In addition, all of the staff is so amazing and kind. I’ve never waited longer than I am told it will be for my pick up orders; in fact, they’re usually faster! Surprisingly reasonable pricing for the quality of the dishes, and sustainable packaging. Love this place.

Pros: Stunning dishes, Amazing flavors, Kind staff

A beautiful experience

I really enjoyed this place! The menu introduced me to new and creative dishes while still being easily navigated. The food was delicious, and the presentation was remarkable.

Even non-vegans should go here.

This is hands down the best vegan sushi I’ve had. If you’re vegan; heck, even if you’re not vegan, GO HERE.

OMG!

I ordered from here for delivery. At first when I got my delivery I was slightly annoyed because there was no cutlery or typical dipping sauce for sushi (soy sauce). I should of expected that because most vegan places don’t supply those without asking.
So I resigned myself to eat with my fingers, slightly annoyed, but it is what it is. Any hint of hangry that I had left with my first bite. OMG this is some of the best food I have ever had.
I ordered the Caterpillar, Spyder, No-Shrimp Tempura, and the Stressed Out (again, I was getting hangry, so no judgement 😂).
Everything was amazing. The presentation was beautiful, especially considering I had it delivered. But every bite was so delicious I couldn’t stop myself from eating past the point of full.
I cannot wait to come back to San Diego just to eat here again.

Pros: All vegan, Soooo freaking delicious , Beautiful presentation

Cons: No cutlery with delivery, but not a deal breaker

Take your parents!

Truly the best vegan sushi/Californian rolls I’ve had in San Diego so far. There is an appetizer that is a crispy shredded burdock root sensation! Cool infused water options and deliciously flavored Saki.

Pros: Perfect for anyone who may miss sushi., Incredible service!

Out of this world vegan sushi

Unbelievably delicious, simple but inclusive menu featuring many vegan spins on Japanese traditional dishes.
I got 3 rolls because I’m a happy cow: the spy set, caterpillar, and and Inari roll. *dont eat the decorative flowers on top like I did*

Pros: Unique , presentation, simple menu/quality ingredients

Cons: Decorative flowers aren’t tasty
