Sheltered alfresco café and take-away located on Perranporth high street less than two minutes’ walk from the beach. Offers Sri Lankan dals, Indian curries and Mexican stews. Each day there is a different hotpot special along with vegan and gluten-free pasties and raw vegan cakes and sweets. Works closely with small Cornish producers that are passionate about the environment. Also has ceremonial cacao drinks, speciality barista made coffee roasted in nearby Penryn by Olfactory Coffee Roasters, smoothies and vegan ice-cream. Reported closed October 2022.

I have visited Sprout a few times, the staff are always lovely. Food is fresh and healthy. The cakes/treats always look delicious 👌🏻 do a decent coffee too!

Me and my partner went in the morning for a hot drink, they were both delicious and the ladies in the place were lovely! When I asked what the daily hot pot was she told me it was the Sri Lankan lentil dhal and asked if I wanted to try. We went back later for food I had the dhal, my partner had the hummus salad box. Both were fresh and so tasty. If we ever went back to perranporth we’d visit again 100%.

Tucked on this little infill site is a trailer that serves wonderful vegan food. Their coffee and drinks menu is outstanding, the cacao is really worth a try. Big variety of cakes and there are always a couple of inventive and enticing lunch options.

What a delight it was to find Sprout in Perranporth. Absolutely gorgeous food - we shared a raw salted caramel peanut slice and it was FAB! Oat milk is standard, which made for delicious hot chocolate! Can't wait to go back... Preferably daily... To try the rest of the menu! Today's curry was cauliflower and lentil which sounded lush. Daily menu changes adds to the variety. Highly recommend you stop and enjoy x

Had a lentil and black bean chilli, sprout salad, pasty and smoothies. The chilli particularly was delicious, but we'll be back again and again no matter what they're serving. Nice but small outdoor seating area under a roof.

A lovely little place that is a 2 minute walk from the beach. Some great snacks and drinks and a different one pot meal each day. I had the pot meal for lunch most days of my holiday (would have been every day if it was open 😀) and it was nicely varied and very tasty. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing!! The food is delicious! I had vegan nachos which is a great size and has every topping you could want! I can’t wait to try the satay fries! They think of everything, like having a lovely feeding station for dogs with a variety of treats and put cosy blankets on the seats. I want to go here every day so that I can try everything! I highly recommend!!!! Also the staff were extremely nice, warm and friendly :)

We happened upon this place walking through perranporth. Good range of options, friendly staff and the food was great!!! We took the onion bhaji tskeaway box to the beach and it stayed crispy despite the 2 hour delay between buying and eating. No waste...they refuse to sell water in plastic bottles and only serve it at table instead. A great place!!!

Everything was delicious, I ate far too much. The staff are lovely and there’s even a station of dog treats and water for our four legged friends. Our favourites were the satay and the yard dog. I loved how it didn’t say vegan anywhere.
