Exceptionally yummy!

I’ve been at the hotel for a week now, and I’ve eaten breakfast and dinner here a lot. I love it!

Yes, some of the vegan entrees are fried, but it is the UK. And they have a dedicated fryer for vegan. And sure, you won’t find much that is green, but again, it’s the UK. Try the padrón peppers, which I first had in Germany and can’t find at home.

There are actually more vegan items available than you think from the menu. Ask for Ethan the manager, and he will steer you right.

If you are in the area or staying at this amazing hotel, you must have the Foe Fish and Chips.
It’s basically Tofu sticks deep fried and seasoned with mush peas chips it was UNREAL
I am one happy vegan!

I also had the pardon peppers. YUM

My bestie has the Celeriaic Steak. Meh
If you like the veg then you will be fine. It’s not for me gross. Not worth the price tag.

Pros: Food, Willing to adapt for you , Staff

Enjoyable, If Not Spectacular

A touch of grandeur was on the menu here as I sought out a decent breakfast in quite lavish surroundings.
The first thing I will say for this restaurant is that the staff here were incredibly helpful from the get-go, advising me available options prior to my arrival and even more so when I did. While there wasn’t a massive selection of items available on the buffet section, what was there was more than acceptable, the mushrooms in particular were very moreish. As for the plated element, the vegan breakfast dish, that too was passable, neither groundbreaking nor disappointing. Altogether, it was just about worth the price tag, though I wouldn’t make it a regular haunt.
