Delicious and delightful - Edit
It’s a very small restaurant, so you’ll have to hope there’s a table available. But once you manage to get a spot, the enjoyment can begin. The dishes are beautiful and incredibly flavorful. In each dish, you can taste the individual fresh ingredients, all coming together in perfect harmony. You can taste the care in every bite.

Tasty Cheap Eats - Edit
It's out of the tourist zone a bit, but walkable or a dollar's fare moto ride. The food here is tried and trued. Full of flavor and reasonably priced. Continue the walk after eating and you are shopping in an upper-end part of town. Grand day out, Grommit.

The most incredible food ever - Edit
The food was just delicious. We went as a big group and got to try a wide variety of the menu and it was all just incredible. The fake seitan meats were delicious and they said they were gluten free (I later found out that this wasn’t true, they just had less gluten in, I was ill the next day :()

Delicious food, friendly owners - Edit
Delicious food and drinks. Enjoyed the seitan burger (seitan made by owner’s sister), momos and the kombucha and jasmine teas. They also told me they make their own soya milk and ice cream.

Love in a drink (only 50npr!) - Edit
My first all vegan restaurant in Nepal and I’m so happy to have met the wonderfully friendly staff there. It’s a small place, but the food is pretty good. They make home-made kombucha (kambuja on the menu), which was amazing because I had food poisoning the past days and kombucha is the medicine I needed.
Read moreIt was my first time to try Nepalese momo, but I know it’s a must while here, so I took one order without raw garlic and onion. It was okay. I would be curious to try more.
Baked goods need preordering (one day ahead). Desserts like ice cream are available daily for which the base is almond, soy, coconut or a mixture.
This is a peanut free place ✅

Have you tried momo before? I can’t wait to try more! It’s a very common Nepalese dish.

Absolutely! Tried vegan momo in Hong Kong and Australia. Never Nepal though! Checks flights. 🛫🏔

Idk Hong Kong had some too! I hues i missed out. I’ll be on the look out next time

The Nepalese place in HK is hopefully gone now, because they serve meat and was long before I started doing the Liberation Pledge, so I couldn't recommend going there (except to burn it down.) 😡🤬🤬

Vegan ice cream!! - Edit
This place has a great location just outside of Thamel. Away from the main tourist district but still close enough you can walk if that's where you're staying.
Read moreIt's cute and small with a very friendly staff. The menu has all the standard local foods like chowmein, momos, curry, and rice. And it has burgers and hotdogs.
They also have vegan ice cream which is so hard to find in this city! Plus a selection of baked goods if you call and order them in advance.
I got the veg roll (think of a Nepalese burrito) and it was amazing. Not fancy by any means but it's cheap and filling. I'll definitely be back to try some of the main dishes!
Pros: Free wifi, Nice staff, Affordable
Cons: Need to pre order baked goods

Haha found you again. Your review was the reason I picked this place as my first in Nepal.
