Clearly marked vegan items - Edit

They have a few clearly marked vegan options. Staff are very friendly. We got a vegan burger and some chips. It was a pre-made patty (I think quorn) in a white roll with a slice of tomato. It was completely fine, but I couldn’t help thinking that I could have made it myself very easily. Perhaps the other dishes are more exciting.

Nice place - lots of potential - Edit

Nice wee bistro in centre of town doing some vegan options. I had the avocado toast (minus obviously the eggs) so they added some vegan feta. They seem super keen to accommodate vegans so I think keep asking for vegan options and it can only get better!

Pros: Friendly staff, Lots of potential vegan options

Cons: A bit expensive for what you get

This is a brand new restaurant in the small market town of Kelso. We’re still discovering places in the area and were delighted to find one that does vegan breakfast. Portion sizes were okay, the vegan sausage was fantastic as were the mushrooms. Prices okay if not always related to portion size. They are super accommodating about vegans and showed us all the adjustments they can make to the menus and don’t charge extra just because it’s vegan. We can’t wait to see what they do in future.

Pros: Super friendly, Very accommodating for vegans, Nice wee cafe

Cons: Pricing vs portion size needs work
