Delicious fresh, tasty, healthy and high quality options

Had a lovely lunch here now it is under new ownership. The venue itself is a lovely, tastefully decorated gastro pub. There were 3 vegan mains on the menu- a chargrilled peppers stuffed with vegetable rice with basil pesto, a mushroom cream linguine or a moving mountains burger. Children's menu with vegan tomato pasta. They also happily catered for my vegan 4 year old who doesn't like anything with a sauce on! They made him plain linguine with peas, tenderstem broccoli and fresh spinach salad leaves which he loved. There was a vegan rocky road with ice cream on the desert menu, though mine was more of a brownie with vegan ice cream and a choice of 3 vegan sorbets. I had the stuffed peppers and it was very fresh tasting and delicious. Will definitely go back again very soon. The menu for non vegans was equally high class if you're going with other non vegan company. They grow some of their own produce on site hence the freshness.

No choice. Would not eat here again

We went for Sunday lunch with family (who eat meat). There was only 2 vegan options which wasn't what I was expecting. When a member of staff gave us the bill after the meal, he gave us complementary mint chocolates which he told me I couldn't have with a weird explanation as to why. I checked the packet myself and they were vegan. Didn't give me much confidence in their knowledge of vegan food. Food was average and extremely slow coming out when the restaurant wasn't that busy. Wouldn't go again.
