Serves meat, vegan options available. Waterfront restaurant with views. At least 2 menu items are already marked as ‘dairy free' and 'vegetarian’ which can be veganised including a vegetable risotto and grilled asparagus with cashew cream. NOTE: This restaurant offers kangaroo and wallaby.

Limited Options - Edit
They had two vegan options on the starters menu, one of which was removing the cheese from their garlic and cheese bread. The other option was a starter of cauliflower bites, deep fried cauliflower with a soy and maple syrup sauce topped with sesame seeds. This was very nice, and the portion serving was certainly enough, as stated on the menu, as a shared option. They had one vegan option on their main menu, an eggplant parmigiana. Served with a side salad and chips. This lacked any real taste and seasoning, and I was disappointed with the food. The restaurant itself is very nicely located on the waterfront, a good drinks menu, and the staff were engaging and helpful. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this to any person following a vegan lifestyle, limited in what it offered and average in taste and presentation.

Sad Overpriced Vegan Options - Edit
Unfortunately not a fan, very limited vegetarian/vegan options on a long list of other menu items - the cauliflower bite entree was great! Very tasty and crispy hot and naturally vegan.
Read moreHowever the only main menu veg item was an eggplant parmigiana, made vegan by removing the cheese. For $28, it was super NOT WORTH IT, literally two tiny pieces of eggplant that weren’t cooked very well nor were tasty, a tiny side salad, on a mountain of hot chips. The chips were good but after already having the deep-fried cauliflower bites couldn’t muster the strength to barely eat a handful of chips. For the price as well, I would’ve expected much more eggplant and salad.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend for vegan meals.
Pros: Good cauliflower bites, Nice scenery
Cons: Expensive, Unsatisfactory food , Barely any veg options

Don’t eat here. They have wallaby on the menu - Edit
Checked out the menu online before considering going. Saw they have a smoked wallaby dish on the menu. They won’t be getting any of my money 😡

St Helens surprise - Edit
Nice restaurant with a great view, we were surprised by the several vegan options on the entree and mains menu. The slow roasted pumpkin was amazing.

Great option - Edit
When we passed through St Helens there wasn’t much open so we ended up stopping here. Wasn’t expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised! They don’t have many vego/ vegan options but the ones they have are great. My vego friend had the risotto and loved it, I had the veggie ragout (ask for it dairy free) which was delicious and they even had vegan cheese!! Plus their chips were so good 10/10!
