Teaching The Community - Edit
My friend writes the Vegetarian Journal, and she is one of the sweetest women I know. Her activism is through education of the benefits of Veganism and assisting others through their transitions and experimentation with the vegan lifestyle.

I love that this organization does research into vegan foods and products, and I especially love that they keep up-to-date on the research. I enjoyed attending their annual vegan Thanksgiving potluck last year.
