It does not look like a café, they just have a few tables inside. The staff is really lovely. The food is really healthy and the taste of everything we tried was good. It is quite expensive and not big portions.

Visited today and had a sticky toffee cake and bun - the cake was delicious & bun was a little on the dry side but tasty nonetheless! Was assured the cakes were all vegan although the shop connected to the cafe was selling honey?

Gorgeous breakfast in Braintree - Edit
We loved the oat milk coffee and our breakfast bread roll with rashers, 🌱sausage, & ‘egg’. Very nice cakes too, we had the berry bun and the biscoff cake. Great service too👌💚Will definitely be visiting again when we’re next in Essex.

I've been to this café twice now, both times having one of their stews which comes with a savoury scone. Delicious! There's also a great variety of cakes and other mains which I will try in the future. All vegan. Attached to a health food shop. 💚

Toasties are really tasty. I regularly buy the lentil soup and cauliflower tikka masala along with the savoury scones to have during the week (I think I’d cry if they stopped making any of them), they have so much flavour. The fruit scones are delicious.

Food is absolutely delicious! We had a 1/4 pounder with lentil chips and African peanut stew and they were all incredible. So full of flavour. Very friendly and helpful staff and the shop inside is really well stocked. Cannot wait to be back.

We discovered this cafe on the way to Norfolk a couple of years ago so dropped in again when we were making another trip. The food is delicious, and there’s also cake. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cafe is at the back of the Natural Way shop so you can stock up on goodies while you’re there.

I love this place. It’s my local and it’s great, especially because it’s in a shop so I can stock up on vegan chocolate at the same time! The staff are so lovely and helpful. The food is great. My staple is their ultra BLT but they recently changed their menu and I risked a breakfast muffin and it was incredible.

Fantastic homemade food and sweets. The attached market is very well stocked, but definitely not inexpensive. The cafe however, while not cheap is very fairly priced for the quality. Staff is genuinely great.

This is an establishment really worth your support. It’s a family run concern, with a huge level of personal involvement and attention. Great home cooking and always a smile. Super genuine staff who are helpful and honest. And a lovely array of options. Great tasting soup and a very well made chocolate cake with a light sponge.

The cafe is warm and welcoming and very intimate. The hosts are very friendly! We went for the sweet potato and chickpea curry which was delicious, as well treating ourselves to some cakes afterwards.

The Vegan Way Cafe is a total gem and a massive asset to the Braintree area. It is to the rear of The Natural Way store and has outside seating for six there and four to the front on the high street. So, although not a massive cafe it is the wonderful food and drinks people go for. There are a selection of burgers, curry bowls and lighter bites for lunch and cakes galore for whenever takes your fancy. All the usual coffees and teas are bolstered by a lovely selection of smoothies. All this is served by the happiest and most friendly staff you could hope to meet.

The main store is also a wonderful source for all your shopping needs and even has a selection of refills for toiletries and cleaning products.

Quiet and cozy in the city center of Braintree. We had a delicious Green Burger full of texture and flavours. We'll definitely return for more delicious vegan treats. We had carrot and chocolate cake for dessert and it was scrumptious. Thanks and keep the vegan power running.

I found this café on here and I go for lunch once a week while at work. The food is absolutely incredible and its run by lovely welcoming people. The hot food is lovely and they do take away too. The vegan and gluten free cakes are also very tasty!
