My wife and I had a feast. We started with 6 Buffalo wings which were the best I have ever had in my life. Then I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which just blew my tastes buds with so much flavor and a side of tasty fries. My wife had 3 tacos. 1) fish taco which was incredible. 2) kbbq which screamed bbq 3) Birdie Sanders which was her favorite.

I've been here a few times. Sometimes the tacos are spicy and flavorful and sometimes they're a bit bland. They're very filling and versatile with really good ingredient combinations. I like the breakfast tacos best.

I have only great things to say - the food is delicious, everyone is friendly, and the vibes are the best. The little seating area is great at all hours, with warm lighting at night, and shade and misters in the day. Please try this business if you are in Austin - ask for the black bean nachos if you can't have gluten or soy, even if they don't show on the menu. The brunch burrito is great if you have no restrictions!

I got three tacos. My friends got the big breakfast burrito and the quesadilla. They're big meatheads and they raved about the food the entire time we ate. Can't wait to visit again.

I had the Grilled Avocado Reale upon first visiting Austin for the first time and it sent my taste buds into heaven. Of course, I had to return again before I left and I had the Birdie Sanders. Once again the food was to die for!

Read moreI went with the Grias Madre breakfast taco and the Nueva Onda adding kale and tempeh bacon. I went with one corn and one flour taco to mix it up. Both were delicious and hearty enough. Enjoyed the hot sauces they had.
Service was friendly. I'm definitely coming back here to try the dinner menu.
Of note other food trucks near by feature a vegan veggie burger food truck run by Vegan Nom, another vegan food truck featuring more savory entrees, a vegan milk shake vegan food truck, and a coffee food truck.

Pardon my pun. 😂 This place was awesome. I got Jorge's "beef" burrito. It was delicious but also enormous - so in no way did I finish it. Cheers to lunch tomorrow, too! Chips and queso here is to die for. This place is worth a visit - even if it's for the queso alone.

The fishless taco and Korean BBQ tacos were really tasty, but $5.5 (before tax) per taco is a little too steep when the fillings weren't too generous either (the fishless was screaming for more guac). Nice for a treat, but I couldn't eat here regularly.

The tacos are medium sized not too small or too big. I Ordered the Mushroom/spinach/caramelized onion tacos which was sautéed in a delicious sauce so yummy 🤤. I also had the Gracias Madre which was also tasty. My only complaint is the flour tortillas which aren’t homemade , other than that friendly staff and I didn’t have to wait long.

The food that I got here was absolutely incredible. However, the woman working was super rude. I'm not sure what her deal was but she acted like she didn't want us eating there/ordering food. I loved everything I got, especially really enjoyed the nachos. Wish the service was better but oh well.

I’m obsessed with these tacos. You cannot visit Austin without going here! The variety and creative flavour of the tacos are unreal. My current favourite is the Korean BBQ and avocado one taco, but I’m always a fan of the birdie sanders, the fish taco and any of the breakfast tacos! Seriously I think this is one of Austin’s vegan gems!! I could eat these every day and be happy

We waited about 45 minutes for our food. You could tell everything was freshly made, we were just a bit hangry after a long day which made it feel long. But the music and good vibes make it a comfortable wait.

After reading so many amazing reviews, we had to give Vegan Nom another try. Full disclosure, we first visited in June 2019 and did not love it. The meat was super gluten-y and tacos (Del Ray, Korean BBQ, Birdie Sanders) weren’t very flavorful - I really didn’t get what the fuss was about.
Read moreHOWEVER, given the obsession people have with Vegan Nom, I felt like it must’ve been an off day, and so we came back twice more once we moved to Austin to give them a fair shake. I am soo glad we gave them another chance. The Del Ray actually tasted/felt like fish! Korean BBQ was soo tasty and all gluten aftertaste was gone! My favorites are the Del Ray, Nueva Onda, Super Fresco, and Migas, but honestly they’re all delicious.
Service has also always been super friendly, relatively fast, and they are happy to recommend personal favorites if you have a hard time deciding. Now we have a hard time resisting eating here every night!

This place didn't populate on Happy Cow, when I searched this app for vegan restaurants near me. I was going to another restaurant suggested on this app and they were too busy, so I just stumbled on this by accident. It's a small vegan food truck park. I had a taco called Birdie Sanders (simply because of the clever name) and it was amazing! Great place to sit outdoors with shade AND most importantly, they had misting fans that kept you cool cuz today was almost 90°! Glad I found this spot!
