False Advertising - I was served meat - Edit
This is NOT a vegan restaurant. It's under new ownership and is operating under the same name, but now serves meat. I found this out after being served a MEAT hotdog and ingesting it under the assumption that it was VEGAN. I've posted in multiple forums and heard from the Orlando vegan community that they aren't properly labeling their items for their workers. Their menu on Uber Eats says VEGAN and has no mention of meat options. According to public records they are operating on a dissolved business license. Ownership will not respond to me. Please beware. There are other legitimate vegan options in Orlando.

Late Night Vegan - Edit
It’s hard enough to find vegan restaurants, let alone one late at night. That’s where the Vegan Hot Dog Cart comes in. Located inside the Sly Fox Bar, the ordering process is automated. Enter your order into a terminal and they text you when the order is ready. You pick it up from a window on the other side of the bar. The late-night menu was limited to two dogs, "Ye Olde Reliable" (5-Bean Chili, Dharma Cheeze, Scallions) and "The Holiday Dog" (Florida Orange/Cranberry Chutney, Fried Onions, Carolina BBQ, Parsley). The dogs are both quite tasty. It’s nice to know that you can still find delicious vegan eats late at night.

The last time I went there, they allowed us to order food and pay before someone finally came out and said no one was in the kitchen. Then it took forever to get a refund. Last weekend I tried to order through Grubhub and after like 15 mins, they canceled the order without any reason.

i had been wanting to try these dogs for soooo long!! when i saw them at the central fl veg fest i just KNEW that’s where i was gonna go to eat. the brand of dog they use is soo similar to real hot dogs it’s crazyyyy. the garlic aioli they use is to die for. overall, $6 for a vegan, tasty meal isn’t bad and i really enjoyed it.

First time I came to this cart, and from the advice of the owner?, he told me about the Holiday Dog and I was not disappointed. My gf had the Old reliable and she enjoyed hers. Upgrade to the bigger meat choice! I wish the dogs could be grilled as well

Made it here while attending a convention in Orlando. I had the Old Reliable & the El Boricua. I was not disappointed! The Old Reliable was 🔥! I actually wish I would've gotten another! Only giving a 4 because the website doesn't match what's actually being served or the location and for not having a line that night, my hot dogs weren't very hot. I'd definitely go back though!

Honestly, I haven’t been here before but my friends have. They are non-vegans but they have said these hot dogs are AMAZING, especially after coming out of the bar; their munchies are on fire lmao. I was raised in Orlando and I feel we should support this small place since vegan options are lacking, especially for late night eats. Too bad I missed this place when I visited my family last time. Don’t worry, I’ll come by when I’m in town!

Everything is vegan and safe. They make their own sauces and cheese (carrot, cashew and what not variety) mimics nacho cheese effortlessly. Great bar hoping food. 5 dollar satisfying veg-dogs

I spent an evening of indulging in excessive alcohol consumption, dancing, bar hopping. Finding The Vegan Hot Dog Cart at an unreasonable hour in the morning in a sea of fellow roisterers them, consuming cheese and meat filled street food vendors. This Cart was a gift from the party gods! I got the Holiday Dog, it was splendid, and gave me the strength to stop around in my stilettos to my uber a few blocks down. The vendor was super sweet and took a picture with me.

Good but difficult to get to - Edit
My wife and I split a veggie dog from here, and it was pretty good! It tasted like a real hot dog, but its texture was really soft and it looked kind of unappealing. However, they had lots of toppings to choose from (and you can get as many as you like without any extra charge), and it was a pretty good dog overall! The worst part was trying to actually get to the hot dog stand. It's on a street in downtown Orlando surrounded by bars, so be prepared to deal with parallel parking, one-way streets, and lots of drunk pedestrians if you want to get there. We went on a Wednesday night and it was still really busy and hard to find parking! I'm sure this location is great if you're already out bar-hopping and that they probably get a lot of business from people out partying, but otherwise it's really inconvenient.

Very rude service. They will judge you based on how you look. Be careful if you look too "fancy" or dressed up. They will scoff and make fun of your clothing amongst themselves loud enough for you to hear them. Plus their hot dogs were cold in the middle and soggy buns.

My biggest regret is not ordering more dogs to go. I ordered both a chili cheese dog and the holiday dog. I didn't try them till we got back to the hotel we where we were staying were at otherwise I would have ordered 4. Both were fantastic. A must have!
