Our new local! - Edit
The Vegan Coffi House, Aberdare.
Read moreThis is my third visit now. First time we had jacket potatoes. Second time we had afternoon tea. Third time we had breakfast.
I will say that the presentation needs some work, but the flavour of these dishes were extremely good. In fact I'd say they are missing a trick with how good their breakfast offerings are.
They currently don't have a breakfast menu on display so you have to ask for what you want from a list the owner reels off. Hopefully that'll change soon.
(The reason for no five star is five stars for me is perfection and whilst the coffi house is good, it is not perfect....yet.)
Accessibility:
Almost flat access, but the door is tight. A wheelchair will not fit in the toilet. There is a step to the counter to order.
Pros: Really good and flavourful breakfasts, Quirky, Extensive menu
Cons: No immediate parking , Not particularly accessible. , A little cold at times

Loved it here! - Edit
We came here for lunch on our way back from the waterfall walk. I found the portions huge (which was welcome, after the walk!) and really good value. The vegan black pudding was a highlight - never had it before!

Want to love it..... - Edit
Really want this to work but I ve visited 3 times and sadly I'm not likely to go a 4th....the decor is quaint and homely , the staff friendly and helpful, sadly the service is painfully slow , waiyed over half anhour then mine came out a good 10 minutes ahead of my partner's meal.....and we were the only one's there at peak lunch hour. the panini was lacking in filling other than an abundance of mayo, desperately want this to work as welcome vegan cafe in Aberdare but seriously need to improve their service and basic menu options ( cakes did look very good.but didn't stay to try them)
Read morePros: Staff super friendly, Cosy quirky decor, Vegan menu!
Cons: Service is very slow, Sandwiches need filling, Over priced for portion size

Cosy and lovely service - Edit
Lovely place with very welcoming and friendly people working there. Prices are reasonable too, and that's coming from a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to dining out LOL =P
Read moreGreat selection of lush wholesome foods, and a good range of alternative milks to have in tea, coffee and hot chocolates.
I had the stunning falafel wrap with both the usual chickpea and beetroot falafels, and topped off with gorgeous sweet chilli sauce and mixture of salad. Highly recommended and will definitely have that again 😋
Can take away or eat in, but much better to do the latter because of the nice and chill atmosphere.
Thank you 👍😊

Yummy food, lovely staff, fab vibe. - Edit
The food is lush; great choice from healthy stuff to cakes and pastries. Tasty! Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. (Big slices of cake for £3-4, smaller options for £2ish)
Great range of cold and hot drinks.
They have a dog menu! 🐕
Staff are friendly and welcoming, really enjoyed chatting to them and they helped me contain my ridiculous excitement at their menu 😆😂
Good range of seating options from sofas to high tables to standard cafe tables. Lovely vibe; vintage matching crockery and pictures but not cluttered, lots of greenery and natural materials (a cool wall of pallet wood). It’s comfortable, a nice place to be, to relax.
Takeaway containers and forks provided are all made of sustainable, recyclable materials from what I could see.
This is now going to be my new weekly local jaunt 🥰😋
Pros: Fresh, colourful, healthy food to pasties & cake., Lovely friendly staff , Dogs welcome
Cons: Didn’t find any on the first visit 🤷♀️
