Vegan options but not all available - Edit
This is our third visit here. We went for lunch on New Year’s Eve. It was very busy but the staff were friendly and had it under control. I had mushroom soup to start which was made vegan for us. It was very tasty. I ordered the vegan pie for mains but was told it wasn’t available so settled on the harissa, sweet potato and chickpea burger. While it is very soft and squishy it was still very tasty. There is one vegan dessert on the menu, an apple and blackberry crumble. I ordered this but was again told it was unavailable. Was offered sorbet instead which I declined. Another member of our party ordered vegan vanilla ice cream which was also not available. They had chocolate instead though. Overall another good experience here but we have never been and had all the vegan dishes available. #Veganuary

Great traditional pub serving good food. Nice to find a vegan Sunday roast. Friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
