Very nice sourdough pizzas & tater tots - Edit
Located near Bournemouth's Lower Gardens. The Stable is a chain with various locations in around England. They have 4 veggie pizzas on the menu that can be made vegan. We shared a margherita and no-porkies pizza and two portions of tater tots. The spicy ones were my favourite.

Awesome Pizzas! - Edit
Saw this place while in Bournemouth over the weekend, I haven’t been to Bournemouth since becoming vegan and my partner and I were stuck with where to go with vegan options. He loves pizzas so we gave this place a go! Lovely environment, lovely staff and delicious pizzas.

Delicious pizza - Edit
Love the pizzas here- they definitely don’t hold back on the toppings and even the gluten free options taste great. As others have mentioned, service can be a little slow.

Great vegan options and lovely cider - Edit
Good spot for vegans - lots of choice and super vegan friendly. Had the vegan sharing platter which was delicious and an Allo Aloha pizza - also good. Side order of tempeh and tahini bites which was the favourite! Also try the rhubarb cider!

Good food, great cider - Edit
Had a delicious pizza topped with avocado, pineapple, mushroom and vegan cheese. My husband had the Greek pizza. We also had BBQ tempeh bites to start and bread and olives to share with our toddler. All very nice and great to have so many vegan options. They had vegan desserts too but we were too full to try.

Only downside was that it was a little pricey, but service was good.
Pros: Separate vegan menu , Tasty food , Tempeh
Cons: Expensive

Not the best quality of food and standard of service. - Edit
After being to other Stable branches in the South West, our local Stable has remained a disappointment unfortunately. Our visits have declined based on the quality of food and standard of service.
Read moreWe opt for the vegan and gluten free choices and they do have a great variety of choices. However, I am not sure what ingredients specifically cause a problem, but we always walk away as a family with an unpleasant feeling in our stomachs. I think it maybe the vegan cheese, but we cannot be sure. Other vegan pizza's from other restaurants don't present this as a problem so it's unique to The Stable in our personal experience. Their vegan mozzarella is not the nicest tasting either to be honest.
This Stable, as the others we have visited nail the cider, without a doubt it's the best place for a great range of quality ciders, hands down.
Service is a problem in our experience and other people we have spoken with agree they have had similar experiences. Regardless of how busy The Stable is, they seem to be very distracted and we always get the impression they are trying to avoid us as customers. We always feel uncomfortable trying to get the staffs attention and it feels like we're actually an inconvenience to them. I have been in a few times for a quick pint and simply walked out again after staff looked at me without acknowledgement and then walked off. However, when you eventually do get the full attention of the staff they are very friendly and polite. So, it's a confusing and perplexing situation. But after so many visits, this is consistent and becomes too much of a unpleasant experience to want to expose ourselves to again.
Pros: Location, Cider, Friendly staff (when you have their attention)
Cons: Service, Food

New Vegan Menu - Edit
The Stable introduced a new vegan menu on the 1st May which is a much more extensive one that previously and now includes desserts of chocolate brownie and cider poached pear with vegan ice cream. Had a lovely meal, ordered the purple haze salad to start then the Heart Skipped A Beet & The Good Life pizzas, which were delicious too.
Read moreShame no wines listed that are vegan friendly with such a great wine, but I had done my research beforehand so knew what to order.
Pros: Vegan menu, Vegan desserts

Top notch eatary in the centre of town - Edit
With enticing sourdough pizzas with names like The Hazel Nutter and Allo Aloha, this chain restaurant offers wonderful combinations for the pizza lover. All in all, four pizzas, two salads and one side dish of an alternative garlic bread can be found on a seperate vegan menu. The quality was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Warmly recommended.

YUMMY - Edit
Really really nice place with a lot of choice on the separate vegan menu. Had a pizza and a salad - so yummy! The salad was huge with lots of healthy ingredients, the pizza had vegan cheese! They will make up something different if you don't want exactly what's on the menu. Can't wait to go back.
