Kentucky Comfort Food - Edit
Staff was knowledgeable about ingredients in the food and got our food out to us hot and fast. I feel like this was such a lovely stop bc we were in the area shopping for local art and got to dive into some vegan junk food for an extra bit of self care.

Disappointed - Edit
We planned our trip around trying different vegan places- we decided to stay in Lexington to give the social vegan a try- we came in plenty of time before closing but we were greatly disappointed to find the store was closed- apparently from locals this tends to happen and they are not there during posted hours

So good I ate here two days in a row! - Edit
While in Lexington for a weekend, I came here Saturday night for dinner -- and liked it so much I returned again for Sunday night dinner!
Read moreMany customers enjoy the heavy dishes -- while I, being more of a whole-food-SOS-free type, appreciated the meal salads. The first night I had the Chop Chop Salad, and the second night I had the Jessica Salad. Both were plenty filling for me, and came with a refreshing unsweetened mango tea.
Fun atmosphere, and the staff were super nice too.
Pros: Many options from heavier dishes to salads, Great value, Friendly staff

Delicious food and great portions - Edit
I ordered from the lunch menu and the prices are phenomenal for the portion size! The nachos were piled so high with toppings and could fill two people. The quesadilla was filling as well, enough for one person comfortably. Both were only $9 each.

Fabulous food, service, atmosphere! - Edit
What did I like? Everything. Best vegan ranch I have ever had in my entire life. I could eat it with a spoon. Chili cheese fries with ranch are to die for.
Read moreWe love this place! I only wish I lived closer to eat here every single day. I'd never get bored of it.
I especially love that it is all vegan. My kid has a dairy allergy and eating out is always a "thing", having to constantly ask and have people not be 100% sure that a dairy product wasn't used. Coming here, they can have anything and everything her heart desires. The whole family loves it so much.
Pros: Delicious, Wide variety on the menu, Fairly priced for vegan eats

I got the BBQ bacon burger with fries and a no sweetened mango tea. The burger was messy and delicious. The service was outstanding too. The guys were responsive and had great suggestions. Would love to come back and eat here again.

Fabulous Food for Everyone! - Edit
We come to Lexington from Virginia Beach twice every year, and a stop at the Social Vegan has become a regular event during our visits. The food is great! We ate dinner at Social Vegan last night with a group of 6. We were the only vegans in the group. Two members are highly vegan friendly, and 2 more would never consider visiting a vegan restaurant other than to be polite to vegan visitors. Yet… everyone raved about their food! Amongst our group, we tested nachos, black bean burgers, the social burger, a social dog, the chop chop salad, street corn, and a quesadilla—all got good reviews! We especially liked the chipotle ranch dressing!

Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
While road-tripping to Tennessee, we decided to stop and give this place a try. This was one of the best decisions made on the trip. Everything was delicious and made to order. I had the Social Chick’n Philly and my wife had the Vegan Chick’n and Waffles. The “Chick’n” in the Chick’n and Waffles was a fried oyster mushroom, which had a spicy bite/crunch which worked excellent against the sweet chewy waffle and maple syrup.

Great find in Lexington! - Edit
We had such a good dinner here. Was in town for a friend’s graduation. Andrew and Rea were super helpful and friendly. Went over GF options for friend. So hungry I forgot to take food photos. We ate it all up so quickly! Had the Chop chop vegan salad with BBQ chikn. Loved this! Perfect entree salad. Daughter had the BBQ bakn burger. Yum! Friend had Italian sausage and veggies on arugula instead of grains. This had such savory seasoning. Very delicious. Totally recommend. Also had the frozen piña colada margarita. They don’t skimp on the alcohol.

Chef’s Kiss 🤌🏼 - Edit
First off the service was quick and accommodating - I got food to go and went next door for a glass of wine when I waited and they brought it over to me. Secondly the food was *chef’s kiss* amazing. Got the nachos and elote - both fantastic but especially the elote since that isn’t a common vegan food you can find. Would 11/10 recommend
