Serves meat, vegan options available. A quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Most menu items have vegan and vegetarian alternatives and are clearly labeled. Some of the vegan choices: Several vegan breakfasts, savory waffles, pancakes (sweet and savory), falafel salad, Mediterranean platter, vegetable polenta stack, burgers and ice cream. Meat dishes are prepared separately. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-5:00pm.

Good vegan options, easy parking - Edit
Decent place with vegan options, especially if you are driving east from the airport (JNB).
Read moreWe ordered vegan pancakes - they were pretty good, and they allowed us to make some minor changes (e.g. banana on the side). We also ordered vegan burger and fries to go - it was a good, filling burger.
Clean, fast service, has bathrooms, accepts credit cards, safe parking, and a lot of outdoor seating. Uses paper straws but still uses styrofoam for takout.
Pros: Clean, Good food, Accepts credit cards
Cons: Not enough vegan options, Uses styrofoam for take-away/to-go food

Such a pleasant surprise - Edit
It was a wonderful surprise to find a place like this with a great variety of vegan options. My friend and I had a yummy chickpea burger with salad and chips, followed by a MASSIVE slice of chocolate cake that we had to take home because we were so full, read spoiled. It's situated in a really idyllic place with some nice antiques shops around, nice water fountains and vegetation. The waiters and friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant is currently focused on developing more vegan recipes.

A pleasant surprise - Edit
I went to Uncle Tim's Antique shop with my mom after she picked me up at at the airport. We decided to go to The Secret Garden because I spotted a sign for vegan ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have many vegan items on the menu and decided to have lunch too. I also stopped here again with my family when they dropped me off at the airport after my visit.

great vegan breakfast - Edit
I added this restaurant as they're not on Happy Cow. The breakfast was huge and varied with spiced baked beans, tofu scramble, delicious mushrooms, a large potato hash brown and vegan sausage. I added a soya latte and peanut ice cream 😀
