Really enjoyed the vegan burger. Menu had a second vegan main course and one vegan desert, though no vegan starter.

Vegan options with a bit of thought given - Edit
I read that one of the owners is vegan, and you can tell, because there are decent vegan options which have had a bit of thought put into them. The burger for example, comes absolutely loaded with delicious things.
Read moreI chose the oak pot of the day, which was chilli, with rice. I thought chilli was a bit boring as an option, but when it arrived I was really glad I ordered it because it was fresh and healthy - the vegetables in it had a good bite to them, so hadn’t been overly stewed. It was just right.
I was also delighted to order the sticky toffee pudding which was excellent, so I was a very happy vegan with my hearty lunch.

Great pub with numerous excellent vegan options - Edit
We visited last week for the first time as we're new to the area. We were so impressed with all the vegan options, we were really spoilt for choice. I had the vegan ribs, which were absolutely delicious and my husband had the plant vegan, which was really meaty despite being made of lentils and beans, it was also delicious. We also tried a vegan, organic, local-ish beer that was yummy. Highly impressed with the menu and service. We'll definitely be back!

Love this place - Edit
Just so nice to see so many vegan options given equal priority on a menu. Yes they do meat but it has to be 50/50. Or it feels like that! Had the Sunday roast. Massive! And delicious. Very friendly staff. Going to go back for sure.

Family meal - Edit
We were looking for somewhere with good vegan options for a family meal as two of us are vegan. Three of the five starters were vegan (plus one vegetarian). Five mains were vegan. We enjoyed our choices and the service was excellent. They have accommodation and we noted that they offer a vegan cooked breakfast as well.

Best vegan Sunday roast - Edit
Very generous Sunday roast with all the trimmings including a vegan Yorkshire! Lovely pub, gorgeous setting, beautiful town and friendly attentive staff. We’ve been many times and food & service has never faltered. Much of the menu is vegan, including starters and desserts.

Nice pub eats - Edit
Standard menu includes vegan options and items that can be made vegan. Had a tasty veg Oak Pot with a hint of spice/curry with rice and seasonal vegetables (ask for without butter) and a really tasty sticky toffee pudding with vegan ice cream (as standard not separate item). Would eat here again.

Vegan Pub Grub! - Edit
Friendly staff and a busy pub, standard pub meals with a dedicated vegan menu! I had the tofu and fish which was enjoyable, although arrived quite cold, the chips were quite greasy. My partner had the vegan burger which was a real disappointment, all the elements were there, pretzel bun, salad, pickles, but the home made burger was very bland and soft, more like bubble and squeak than a burger - best avoided I’d say! The management have the right ideas, just needs the kitchen to perfect the menu!

Holiday vibes - Edit
I had the tofish and chips, sitting outside in the shade on a scorching hot summers day. Excellent hand cut chips, a good slice of lemon, quality vegan tartare sauce. The tofu was very crispy, flavoured with paprika, which although not traditional nori, was tasty.

Amazing pub, let down by the food - Edit
A beautiful pub with friendly staff and a brilliant ambiance, it feels like a high end local pub so I can't fault it there.
Read moreThe seasonal vegetable soup was excellent, but we did have to remind them to supply us with the vegan butter.
However the Tofish and chips was a let down, whilst the chips, sauce and peas part of the meal was wonderful the fish part left me disappointed. It consisted of a small block of tofu that had been half battered and wasn't even half the size the picture on here suggested. It just came across as a bit stingy and effortless for £13.50.
We had the chocolate tart for pudding and the pastry needed a chisel to get through which was a shame its it was beautifully presented and tasted great. It's also brilliant to see that all three puddings were suitable for vegans.
I can't speak for the other meals as they are what we both had, I really wanted to give this place a good review.
Something to note is that they no longer have a dedicated vegan menu, instead they are scattered through the main menu but are clearly marked and titled.
Pros: Wonderful staff, Brilliant ambiance, Beautiful pub and setting
Cons: A little on the pricy side, Disappointing tofu 'fish'

Delicious Food and Lovely Staff - Edit
Would give 5 stars if possible! Ate here with meat eater family whilst visiting Tetbury and didn't expect to find such good vegan options in this little market town. Not much choice in the centre of Tetbury but this place was worth the short walk out of the centre. We had the tofu burger and chips and they were DELICIOUS. The staff couldn't be more helpful and oat milk was available for hot drinks. Will definitely be visiting again.

Wonderful place to eat and drink - Edit
Absolutely brilliant vegan menu which includes desserts. They also have a really nice vegan red wine which has got to be the best red wine I have ever had. The staff are lovely and friendly and the atmosphere is brilliant in this pub. It's also dog friendly here which is always a winner with us!! Also on the 1st Monday of every month they hold a "Meat free Monday" event which is vegan and it's always a different wordly cuisine. It's only £15 for 3 courses and the food is always spot on!! And they do an absolutely delicious Sunday roast too. YUM YUM and more YUMMINESS

Delicious chips, great atmosphere, bland burger - Edit
Probably the nicest chips I've ever had. Really great and also they do vegan mayo which was EXACTLY like normal mayo, fab fab fab. The burger was slightly bland and needed a bit of spice or something, maybe even a tomato relish? It was served with coleslaw which was quite nice. We went for a family meal on a Wednesday and was very busy and got quite noisy. Really nice decor and would recommend to a friend. Really good and attentive service.

Good experience - Edit
Went here for Sunday lunch, I had the soup to start and a roast with nut roast for mains and a ginger pudding. It was good food, my only gripe is I asked if a certain wine was vegan and they could not confirm either way which shocked me since one of the owners is vegan? I would return.

Seasonal pub food - Edit
Excellent vegan menu with soup, sharing platters, mains, burger with home fries and desserts. Almost all veg options were vegan/possible to veganise. Not cheap, but no more expensive than other pub food in the area. We would happily return and may book accomodation here next time.

Great pub and vegan friendly - Edit
Probably my favourite pub to visit. As one of the owners, is vegan there's always a vegan menu on offer + various specials and events that are often vegan friendly too.
Read moreI've eaten there on many occasions and the food is always good, never left disappointed. While they offer the usual burger options (which is worth trying, they also have more interesting and unusual vegan dishes on offer which lifts them above the usual fare.
In addition to the food, it's a great pub with a dog friendly bar which is warm and cosy as well as a restaurant full of character. The beer garden is also beautifully done out (as is the whole pub) and it's a lovely setting, so a great place to be especially in the summer months.
I'd give them more than 4 stars but Happy Cow doesn't allow as they also serve non-vegan options - check out their other place Asparagasm for a true vegan eatery.
Pros: Vegan specific option, Great pub full of character and contemporary style, Great food and staff
Cons: None experienced

Homemade with many vegan options - Edit
Stopped here for lunch as saw it's owner is vegan and there were several vegan options. The lentil burger was delicious with a lot of flavour. Not the usual piece of cardboard mash "veggie burger" most pubs serve. The fries were a little greasy but overall tasty meal. Go for dinner if you can as they had a much bigger menu with three course vegan options. Newly renovated and cozy with lots of parking around the back and a short walk from Tetbury high street.
