Nice to have choices

At dinnertime there were few vegan options in Bourton on the Water, so we were happy to find this place with more than one thing to choose from.

I had the special vegan salad, which was very filling. It had roasted eggplant, smashed new potatoes (warm), beetroot chutney, arugula, mixed seeds, and olives.

I followed up with the MOROCCAN VEGETABLES TAGINE WITH RED ONION AND CORIANDER COUSCOUS, POMEGRANATE, FIG & DATE CHUTNEY. It was a bit spicy and I was already full from the ‘salad’, but it was reasonably satisfying.

My friend is not vegan and very much enjoyed her STILTON LASAGNE WITH ROAST RED PEPPER SALSA, GRATED PARMESAN, PESTO DRESSING.

The nonalcoholic cocktail was tasty and not too sweet.
