Incredible 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 - Edit
Absolutely loved my lunch here, the choice of salads was amazing and each one I tried had such amazing flavours (as well as a greatly cooked sweet potato!!) A filling portion with lovely interior and staff - couldn’t ask for much more! 🙌🏻

Great food + lovely staff :) - Edit
Had the overnight oats which were a 10/10 - Really hit the spot. For £5.50 with a hot drink, it was really good value.

Edit: have now visited the cafe for coffee and cake. Nice place with quizzes and board game nights. I was taught about edible flowers by the proprietor.

You are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome at the Rookery. It’s the only place I eat and drink in Windermere because you are guaranteed great food, great drinks and great company.

Fantastic choice of food and drinks. - Edit
Lovely well thought out menu which although they were almost sold out as it was 2.45pm the day before Christmas eve, there was still something for all the family. Only one of us was veg but we were all happy with our choices, which is rare!. Delicious chilli on either sweet potato or jacket pot. There was a quiche with red peppers and veggie crisps, and I had a delicious French onion soup. We were delighted to find an unusual venue and perfect coffee and hosts. Immaculate hipster friendly in both the decor and owners!!
