Well, They're Trying!

I wouldn't usually touch a Spoons with a sh*tty stick because I don't want to give any of my money to that Brexit-loving gammon, Tim Martin, but I was meeting a friend for drinks, the venue was her choice, and I was hangry. So, I opted for the vegan Gourmet Burger, for £11.

Cue one weird-looking patty with 3 rocket leaves underneath, and topped with half an avocado. Not sliced avocado - LITERALLY half an avocado, just scooped out of its shell and plonked on the burger. No sauces, condiments or even a slice of onion or tomato. Aaaaand... on a regular brioche bun, which I removed. The burger itself tasted absolutely rank.

I mean, well done on having options, Spoons, but try to remember that vegans actually LIKE food 👍

Pros: They do actually attempt to cater for vegans.

Cons: Burger was dreadful and expensive. Stick to the , cheap drinks.
