Absolutely the best pub ever - Edit
We have eaten here several times as its pretty local to us. We've enjoyed every single dish and love the atmosphere there. Really hearty good value meals with the absolute bonus of questioning any options on the menu as we know it is all fully vegan. Without a doubt my most favourite place. Please please know guys you are doing the most wonderful job.

It was fabulous to find a totally vegan restaurant. The food was amazing, the portions were generous ,the atmosphere was lovely and staff were so helpful. There is a wide range of vegan mains and puddings and we would highly recommend!

Saw an article about them going fully vegan while still living in America, right before moving to Wales. My partner grew up in Cwmbran so he was floored to hear there was a vegan pub. I ordered the chicken carbonara and it was so filling and delicious I didn’t have room for desert, we also shared the garlic mushrooms and I have dreamed of them nightly ever since.

Best range of vegan options in the UK, beautiful scenery, loads of outdoor seating and parking, and allows campervans to stay overnight! Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and they LOVE dogs, even have a few vegan options for dogs on the menu!

Best place I've eaten in my 3 years as a vegan. Always visit when in the area. Great prices and super tasty meals. Mostly substitute based menu rather than veggie packed dishes which can be a pro or con depending on what you want. Tried several dishes now as a family and never had a single complaint. Lovely place to sit outdoors and watch the ducks in the stream too. On-site car parking makes it an easy outing.

Read moreThe Sunday menu was varied, prices very reasonable & portions ample. Even our relative, who's not vegan, thoroughly enjoyed her meal. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Wales. We're only sorry that there's nowhere like this in our area as we'd be regulars.

Beautiful Vegan Food - Edit
I've been to family events at the pub over many years and the food and service has always been great, but I've been recently and the vegan menu is out of this world. A traditional british pub with all the charm and character it's always had, with lovely outside area next to a river (and cute resident ducks!), that's all vegan. What more could you want?! I've never had so much choice, there is nothing in the area like this and I will be returning frequently. Great service, great value, clean and welcoming.

On this visit we had the juicy marble steak and the chickn and bacon carbonara. The steak was so tasty and filling, all the trimmings meant brilliant value for money. The carbonara was delicious, packed with chickn and bacon pieces topped off with garlic ciabatta slices…I couldn’t finish it (rare for me!). The setting is beautiful, the staff are genuinely friendly and the regulars are also welcoming. Also recommend the Sunday lunch, hunters chickn and the kebabs. Can’t wait for the next visit to try something else!

I have been MANY times as this is luckily my local, the food is always incredible and SO many choices now they have gone fully vegan (this makes choosing very difficult, I'm not used to this many options). Always super friendly staff, amazing food, huge portions (you will never leave hungry) and reasonably priced.
