Vegan conversions - Edit
Great place for a coffee and chat with friends. They’ll happily convert dishes to be vegan, eg swapping eggs for mushrooms. Smooth tasting coffee and friendly service. The room was very hot when we arrived but they turned the air con on when requested and then later opened the French doors to let in some fresh air.

Nice but room for improvement - Edit
It's a lovely place in a great location but they could do a lot more vegan options! They're quite limited.

Only stopped in for a coffee and pastry, but it looked alright! - Edit
As the title says, we only popped in after a parkrun for a coffee (an oat latte and oat mocha), alongside a vegan caramel apple Betty - all of which was nice enough!
Read moreIt looks like they do a vegan halloumi for their mains/lunches, as this was demoted on the menus.
Pros: Cute garden centre setting
Cons: Limited vegan brunch options, Very busy - looks like the only cafe in Sandridge

Nice venue for a coffee but... - Edit
I went last year as a group before a funeral - the staff were aware that this is what was happening. The menu only had a few vegan options and one they did have also described one option as vegan but said it came with egg noodles. Staff unsure about whether it was actually egg/vegan, which always makes me uneasy, and that narrowed options down further. We had the table for a set amount of time, which hadn't elapsed, but as soon as the bill payer had paid and left slightly ahead of the rest of the group, the servers couldn't get us out quickly enough. They told us we could go and sit outside if I wanted to finish my coffee and cake?! I was there with my young daughter and they knew the circumstances too so quite why they couldn't have just let us finish, or invited the next booking to sit outside while they looked at the menu I don't know. I was really disappointed and it wasn't a pleasant experience to be honest, I'd maybe go back for a coffee and the cake was quite nice but the service didn't inspire any confidence in their awareness of their food and ended on a really sour note.

Cons: Impersonal and rushed service , Poor knowledge of vegan diet, Very small vegan selection
