Must visit!!

This place was great! Chilled vibes, friendly service and delicious food. I ordered the savoury crepe, which was amazing and my meat eating fiancé had the Italian stallion sandwich and absolutely loved it! The smoothies and cakes are also super tasty :)

Decent lunch

We weren't particularly blown away with what we ate here, but it was good enough. The pulled jackfruit burger was missing something... It was just so much bread and not much going on in the burger itself. The croque monsieur was not something I'd order again but it was interesting and worth trying a vegan version. I find the 'bakery' part of this place (and the one in Tulum) kinda misleading. It doesn't sell bread or pastries, just a cake or two and a handful of cookies and raw desserts.

Pros: Good menu options

Cons: Not really a 'bakery'

La mejor omelette

Increible Mushroom bomblete!

Breakfast All Day!

Ordered the bagelwich which was presented beautifully and tasted just as great! Got there about 30 minutes before closing so a lot of items were sold out. Would love to come again and try other things. Great desserts as well!

Extensive vegan menu

I loved this restaurant! It’s my favourite vegan place in playa del carmen - the menu is huge and caters for all different kinds of vegans - items such as the Buddha bowls are brilliant if you’re more WFPB, there’s plenty of raw options like salads and smoothie bowls too. If you want junk food they offer a beyond burger which is good as far as beyond burgers go - it’s well dressed and comes with onion rings etc but it pales in comparison to some of the other options on their menu.

My personal favourite is the Caesar salad - it’s statisfying, fresh and filling. I had this multiple times on my visits to this restaurant. The spicy peanut noodle salad was brilliant too - extremely filling and I couldn’t manage an entire portion on either occasion I ordered this.

Favourites of my daughter (who has a sweet tooth!) included their banana sushi and the choco banana pancakes. She also liked the croque monsieur (although if you’re not a fan of vegan cheese this might be unbearable because it was super gooey and a big portion!

The pitted date also does some lovely raw cakes and desserts, of which we tried the carrot cake (lovely silken tofu based cream topping) and also the pecan pie.

Wonderful food and great prices!

We went here for breakfast and had the açai bowl and plain cream cheese bagel. Both were exceptionally delicious and I felt the prices were great for the amount of food served! We’re hoping to return again before we leave playa to try some of the other bits on the menu.

Terrible service lets them down

I hate giving vegan restaurants bad reviews but the service was awful. A sullen unmasked guy is serving. I couldn't read the menu on my phone so went inside for a printed one. I was not allowed outside (too dark to read inside) with it so my husband had to come inside to read it to me. Some of the menu was unavailable. Thankfully, the food and drinks were wonderful. Won't return unless service improves.

Pros: Great food even if not all items available.

Cons: Rude server. Customers are masked but not staff

Must visit

My friend in Texas told me this is her favorite vegan restaurant in the world, so naturally I had to try it...twice lol.

The first time I got the gluten free version of the bagelwich, which was delicious! The "egg" and peppers and sauce were all perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the potatoes and (what I assume was) homemade ketchup were a perfect compliment (potatoes weren't overly salty and the ketchup wasn't overly sweet). I was fairly ravenous, so I followed this up with a gluten free grilled cheeze (which was good) and a slice of the gluten free chocolate cake (decadently rich, which I was in the mood for).

The next morning I went back and got a soy mocha (quite tasty), the Blissed Out Blue smoothie with protein powder (genuinely phenomenal), and the Waffles á la Choco Monkey. The waffles were a bit dense, but this is my first time having gluten free waffles, so I'm not sure how they compare to other comparable dishes. The flavor was solid, and I would get them again, although I would probably try the crepes first if I came back.

The service was excellent, as the staff was attentive and helpful without being overbearing.

I debated between 4 and 5 stars, but since I would honestly recommend this place to any friends, vegan or not, I decided on 5 stars. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

MY FAVE RESTAURANT IN WORLD

I was vacationing in playa a few months ago & wow. This place exceeded my expectations. The jackfruit bbq pulled “pork” sandwich was seriously the most amazing sandwich of my life. There was so much amazing flavor. I got it everyday for 3 days in a row. Also the falafel pita wrap was very good, the pancakes were yummy also. I seriously wish I could’ve tried everything on this menu. I can’t wait to travel again. The pitted date is seriously top notch . Wish I could give 10 stars. I went to the one in playa and the staff was amazing.

Pros: Jackfruit bbq sandwich- best meal of my life , Two locations. Tulum and playa , Great menu

Worth the walk!

I remembered going there in 2018 but I guess I didn't review it then. A lot of nice stuff on the menu, many featuring their vegan egg. First time I went, they were out of a lot of things but I still had a great meal - the jackfruit tacos! Cake slice was huge. The kombucha is tasty (I don't normally like bottled kombucha but I'm glad I made an exception to try it!) Second time I had the Italian panini. Also good; maybe a little oily.

This is also the place that introduced me to the "London Fog" - an Earl Grey latte. At first my brain could not compute but it grew on me

Pros: Vegan egg!, Many delicious options

Cons: Far from PDC center, Sometimes run out of things by dinner time

Just ok

Nice place, food was just ok. I felt it was one of those restaurants were they give you regular cheap food from the supermarket and sell it at a very high price.

Cons: Pricey for what you get

Good food, awful service

The food here is good and about as creative as you’re gonna find for vegan food in PdC. The service, however, (can I call it that?) is downright terrible, which is such a shame because this place has a lot of potential. The team who works here needs a big attitude change.

Delicious food, bad service

Surprisingly bad service for no apparent reason, which sucked since we came back everyday for the food. Had the same waiter everyday and he didn’t even acknowledge we’d been before. The food is good though, especially the fried cauliflower tacos!

So good!

I walked a long way under the hot sun to get here, but it was sooo worth it!

I ordered the chilaquiles with green sauce and added the vegan egg too, plus the red juice. I'd never had chilaquiles before and they were really tasty. I finished my meal with a small dessert - a raw cupcake made of macadamia nuts filled with berries - it was beautiful!

There were so many items on this menu I would have loved to tried if I had more time in Playa del Carmen! It's a really cool place too with lovely staff. I sat out on the terrace in the front which was really relaxed.

Pros: Tasty food, Super quick service, Friendly staff
