A vegetarian stall in The Pink Garden market that offers quick lunch-style vegetarian food, many of which are vegan. 8-minute walking distance from Lumphini MRT station. Walk straight from the station to Sala Daeng 1 Alley. Turn into the Alley and walk 100m, you will then see a large open-air food court named The Pink Garden. The food stalls are inside the food court, look for เจ sign. Open Mon-Fri 10:30am-3:00pm. Closed Sat-Sun.

Cheap and tasty local food - Edit
The Pink Garden is a local style foodcourt and it is very popular. Each time we passed by during lunch time, it was totally packed with locals, mostly people working in the surrounding buildings it seems.
Read moreThe stall selling vegan food was located on the left towards the back of the foodcourt when we visited. Look for the red sign on a yellow banner (see photo).
The owner of the stall was very friendly and informed us right away that she did not sell meat, and when I asked, she confirmed that she did not use egg either. We chose noodles, fried rice, broccoli and a dish similar to Pad Kra Pao. We paid 75 baht for two boxes of food.
While the food was not spectacular, it was tasty and filling, and I just like these simple kind of dishes. Nothing fancy, but good cooking. We are happy that we found this stall through HappyCow.
We did takeaway and had the food at our hotel, but you could also just walk the short way to Lumphini Park and have it there, or eat at the food court, which might be a bit crowded and hot though, depending on when you are there.

Good option in dry area - Edit
Typical Thai vegetarian food stall but no eggs. Asked owner and she insists the dont use egg.
Read moreFood was good. Solid veg foodcourt standard.
It does get really hot on a hot day but that is part of why it only cost 50 baht for plate of good food.
