The Patty Place - Edit
The veggie patty was actually terrible. It was so bad I did not finish it. There was no protein inside either. No soy patties were offered, as mentioned being available in the HC listing and there was no indication a soy patty will be offered since the menu only states veggie. Nice staff, but not so nice food, imo.

Slim Pickings for Ice Cream - Edit
So, you're on an island, and you want ice cold dessert. This is a good spot!
Read moreThey have a ton of choices! If you're vegan, you have nondairy ice cream that is NOT sorbet, so that is a bonus! The prices are high for the whole island, so just grin and bear it.
The ice cream comes in several sizes starting with kid size at 3 oz., then the single scoop at 5 oz. I ordered a single scoop of nondairy ice cream, and let me just say it was pricey, but, it was the largest single scoop of ice cream I have ever had in my life! It was really like 2 scoops! When you order, you can have 2 free toppings. For vegan toppings, the only one I really trusted was the sliced almonds. They have chocolate chips, rainbow sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles- but we all know how those work out for vegans!
You can order a banana split for a hefty price, but, if you want it, you can get it? I guess it's really just bananas and ice cream for vegans.... but, I didn't ask.
You can make milkshakes, too? I didn't ask if they have soy milk or almond milk, because honestly, the costs were so high, I was just happy with ice cream. They have vanilla and coconut nondairy ice cream (not sorbet!). The flavor reminds me of Tofutti.
So, short story: ice cream that is nondairy can be found in Providenciales.
Pros: Nondairy ice cream
Cons: Not too many choices

Jamaican patties - Edit
Patty Place is a Jamaican patty and ice cream shop in a mini-shopping plaza near Grace Bay Beach. I had the soy patty and the veggie patty, which the shop said were their two vegan options. I confirmed that the patties are baked separately from the non-vegan food. Baked, not fried.
Read moreBoth patties had a traditional flaky crust. The soy patty was filled with small bits of soy meat in a saucy mix. The veggie patty seemed to be mostly stewed greens, maybe callalloo? The greens gave it a distinctive and good flavor, while the soy meat was good but without much personality. At $4 each, try one of each for a light meal.
The ice cream side of the shop was filled with adults and kids so I didn’t ask about options. Everyone there was having a good time.
Pros: Relatively cheap, tasty food, Food was not greasy or heavy
Cons: Only a couple options for vegans
