Palmed off for Sunday lunch - Edit
Me and a friend hoped to get the Sunday lunch as they had a nut loaf on, but we were told that dairy butter is used in the veg and mash, I really have no idea why they can’t just use dairy free alternatives if they make an effort to do a nut roast, the menu could be inclusive to everyone including those with dairy allergies (it would make sense). They had two options for vegans which was the banana blossom vegan fish or the bog standard burger. We opted for the BB fish. The chips and batter were great, the BB could’ve been more flavourful if they had seasoned it with nori, but we still enjoyed it. They offer a good cocktail menu too.

Cons: Don’t offer vegan Sunday roasts , Limited food options

How unfortunate and annoying. The blossom “fish” does look good though!

Unbelievable - Edit
This place was fantastic! Really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back. It is so quirky and fun! Lots of great options on the menu from different mini sections. Different style seating areas. Indoor and outdoor. Pretty reasonably priced. Food was so nice I would really recommend it!

Like being on holiday - Edit
I've nothing but praise for the Palm. The food was great, staff were friendly and attentive and the vibe was excellent. There is a great setup at the Palm with a spacious indoor and outdoor area and a diverse affordable menu to satisfy all those vegan needs. We ordered the ajinomoto gyozas, pholourie fritters kebab and bahani spiced seitan curry to share. The pholourie fritters kebab was crispy, fresh and packed full of flavour while the gyozas with the kyota mayo were delicious. The bahani spiced seitan curry also had a lovely depth of flavour and the seitan complimented the dish well. To finish we shared an indulgent lotus biscoff bar, which was heavenly. The whole experience felt like we were on holiday with the chilled out tunes and the fire pit setting on the table. I can only imagine on an evening this place would be jumping. Can't wait for our next visit.

AMAZING fish and chips! - Edit
The food was beautiful and the menu was clearly marked with what were the vegan options. The only disappointment was there are no vegan desserts. They can offer a fruit sorbet if requested but I feel this is a really boring option these days. The waiter came to ask what sort of thing I’d like to see on the menu for desserts as the chef was genuinely interested and wanted to get stuff on there so hopefully they may change soon!! I’d 100000% return for the fish and chips again though- best one I’ve had since being vegan! 😍
