Excellent food and friendly staff - Edit
Wonderful vegan meal and beautiful patio. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We shared a few vegan apps and the mushroom risotto. We came back and had breakfast which was also great!

Wonderful vegan options - Edit
In my opinion the best restaurant with vegan options on the island. We had the vegan mezze platter, the moussaka and Spanakorizo. It was a little bit expensive, but great taste. We came back a second time since the food was so good!

Nice place with its own vegan menu. I’m afraid I have to say, the food was better than some fully vegan places. We had the kebab and spanakorizo. Nice vibe and friendly staff.

Great to have a choice of vegan food. I've had vegan moussaka here, it was a tad dry, presumably down to plant based mince which soaks up liquid but the bechamel was lovely. Also had imam biyaldi with potatoes which was totally lush. Lots of starters available too!

Great vegan menu,Served without asking, separate from the regular menu, contains a variety of traditional Greek and non-Greek dishes. Diverse, delicious, homely food. Vegan food in a traditional Greek experience. Highly recommended. The owners are a Greek family, excellent service.

A very good Vegan Menu/Options - Edit
The Old Village has a really good sized vegan menu with many different options of vegan Greek dishes and they actually use vegan feta.
Read moreAll of the staff were very friendly and sitting in the garden area is really nice.
The food was very tasty and you could tell that they use fresh ingredients and their vegan menu has been well thought out.
I highly recommend eating at The Old Village which I done on more than one occasion.

It has a great vegan menu with lots of different options. The staff were friendly and it is in a lovely setting. They did serve me a non-vegan greek salad on my first meal there but were very apologetic when I asked if it was definitely the vegan one. Each time after I went they automatically gave me the vegan menu and assured me each meal was vegan. Although I was upset, I think it was just a miscommunication thing and I should have checked it was vegan when they bought it to the table.

Found this place on the Happy Cow app. One of the few restaurants with a separate vegan menu. Really friendly staff and d nice atmosphere. Had the vegan kebab which was good value. Wine menu reasonably priced too. Plant based mango sorbet great way to finish. Would definitely go back.

Really nice restaurant with friendly staff and a dedicated vegan menu. Really enjoyable experience. Makes a change from just French fries and Greek salad without cheese😉the Moussaka was amazing! And they do cheap ‘mock tails’ which was a nice addition.

Delicious inventive vegan food - Edit
First time on our holiday we’ve been spoilt for choice -and that was from the smaller lunch menu! Chose the gyros with vegan feta and it was delicious. Beautiful place to sit as well. Don’t forget to leave room for a vegan ice cream from next door…

Vegan Menu is 5 stars! - Edit
We came here 3 times on our holiday as we struggled to find vegan options near where we were staying! The Vegan Spinach Pie was 100% my favorite but couldn’t fault any of the food we tried! The restaurant itself was beautiful, staff were lovely and atmosphere was very calm with lots of beautiful cats playing and chilling in the outside area! The portions were huge so if you like getting a starter I would recommend sharing it otherwise you will not be able to mange your main!

Affordable, tasty vegan options - Edit
Stopped here for lunch. The menu is smaller at lunch than in the evening but there are still a good number of vegan options. I had the vegan gyros, which was brilliant and less that 7€! Hope to return in an evening.

Best Vegan Greek Restaurant in Skala - Edit
We returned to the Old Village three times in one week as there were so many traditional Greek dishes that were vegan, all of which were delicious! The staff were fantastic and it showed that they were really pleased to offer such a full vegan menu. Dishes we tried included the Greek salad with vegan feta, gyros, moussaka, riganada and carrot cake. Everything was amazing, we would highly recommend!!

First time here and it was so lovely! The atmosphere was great and they had a lovely garden to dine in. Shared the hummus and olives to start and the olives were such a big portion! For a main vegan imam which was a baked aubergine with a tomato sauce, vegan feta, side salad and fried potatoes. Wine was 7 euros for a half litre carafe or ten euros for the full litre however none were labelled vegan. Really good service and even got a free dessert shot at the end
