Mixed feelings - Edit
Read the reviews here, so was optimistic going to this restaurant. They had 3 vegan appetizers (polenta fries, flatbread & hummus and Brussels sprouts). These were really good, even my non vegan family loved them. So I got really excited about the main! Unfortunately they didnt have a lot of options: pasta with red sauce and veggies or a pizza with red sauce and veggies (no vegan cheese or meat). I ordered the pasta and was pretty disappointed. It was basically just red sauce, olives, corn and onion and the sauce was very bland. They charged 16dollar for it.

Cute place, solid vegan options - Edit
It's rare to go to a place that doesn't emphasize vegan foods that does vegan options well, that isn't the case here ! The polenta frites and the Flatbread with white bean dip were truly delicious. Drink options were very nice, and we asked that the chef make us a vegan pasta dish and they made a really lovely pasta with marinara, mushrooms, olives and roasted red peppers. They clearly know their way around food, vegan or otherwise and the servers and other staff were all really friendly. Would be great if you have a mixed group with some nonvegans too I bet !

We loved it! - Edit
It’s a small place but cozy. The indoor tables are with reservations, the walk-ins are outdoor seating. The waiter was very helpful and gave us various vegan options with pizza and pasta. We liked it very much!

Chef made a special vegan pasta dish for us. All their fresh pastas now have eggs except for two: the no egg gluten free penne and the campanelle (which is what we got). The dish had amazing flavor and was beautiful. We also got the Lowcountry Frites and we asked for marinara sauce to dip them in- they tasted like mozarella cheese sticks-they were excellent. A wonderful experience.

Easier than I expected - Edit
I literally said to the server, “I was told that if I said I was vegan you could make something for me,” and the server instantly knew all the items that were either already vegan or easily modified. They asked about allergies, which was nice. But there are a lot — like A LOT — of animals on the menu in general, which was a bit off-putting.
Read moreKudos to the previous reviewers for suggesting the flatbread, it was great! I had a pesto dish modified to be vegan. It was simple but fresh tasting and good. Portion sizes are large—no room for dessert. Pricey but standard for a vacation spot.
Park farther away and walk if you can. It’s not worth waiting in traffic on the main road, and the restaurant parking lot is small. And make a reservation by phone if you can because it’s crowded.

Best food I’ve had in awhile - Edit
Their food is absolutely delicious and perfect place to go if you’re vegan but also with a big crowd who is not vegan. They’re very accommodating to vegans with all their pastas being vegan friendly and even their pizza crust. If you ask for a vegan pasta dish they will make it right away! (And it’s good)

Great Flavors, Fresh Ingredients, Attentive Staff - Edit
I made a reservation at this place given the 2 reviews here. So glad that I did! There are a few plates that are already vegan (Greechie Frites and Obstinate Flatbread), but just as the other reviewers noted, the server I had was extremely attentive and knowledgeable and told me all the dishes that could be easily "veganized" and the chef would happily make me a vegan pasta dish. I opted for the Pappardelle with Mushrooms and Mustard Greens, just skipping the cheese and butter used to make the whole dish vegan. So flavorful, so delicious if you love mushrooms. The Obstinate Flatbread is ah-mazing!! Do not miss it.

There were no specifically vegan options on the menu but the staff was very helpful in accommodating. I had a great pasta dish with the meat item substituted for mushrooms and extra veggies. They made it easy to have a delicious vegan meal.

Awesome vegan pasta - Edit
I ate here a while ago and I recall it being an excellent meal. The server was super helpful and said that they could do me a choice of pastas. I said surprise me and they brought me a very tasty and super filling pasta dish. It was awesome! Thank you!
