Great Music

This is meant to be a place to hang out with friends but I went here alone. It's a very large place and no one else was there. All the tables were for six people and had board games on them. Along a wall there was darts and other games that I'd never seen before.

What I liked most about this place was the music. It was a mix of energetic, uptempo remixes of songs like She's a Maniac, Heaven is a place on Earth, Take on Me. Then it slowed down to 90s classics like All That She Wants and Coco Jambo, before returning to uptempo songs like Venga Airways. It was very fun and a pleasure to listen to. The volume was perfect and the sound quality was good.

I had the Tofu Fish and Chips (31.000 COP). It was tasty but I wish there'd been a bit more sauce and that the portion would've been a bit bigger. The staff was friendly.

I'd be happy to go back :)

UPDATE: I went back and had the worst Moscow Mules of my life. The food was alright although my three mini-burgers were very dry. The service was nice and they let us play some games for free which was a lot of fun. By all means, go here, but AVOID THE MOSCOW MULE!

Good vegan options that you might not find elsewhere

I came to The Mixer on a few different occasions to try their vegan options. The bar staff are very friendly, and accommodating to any questions or requests with respect to making small changes to the menu (not that it needs any). The Vegan fish and chips was delicious, and has the option to be served with papa criolla for a Colombian-British twist. The chefs make all their own salsa/mayonnaise which is completely vegan, and are seeking to include even more vegan choices to the menu, introducing vegan food to people who might not otherwise try it/go to entirely plant based venues. I also tried the vegan burger, sharing platter, and hummus de aguacate for the equivalent of roughly £2, the latter was honestly amazing and so moreish). The bar atmosphere is really nice, a good balance between being lively and enough going on without feeling like you are trying to eat your dinner in the middle of a carnival. The games are also a great way to spend an hour where you would otherwise be sitting drinking after a meal.

Pros: Vegan fish and chips is excellent, Extremely friendly and caring staff, Good number of choices on the menu
