Nice bakery - Edit
Cute place with nice environment. A bit expensive, as pointed out by other reviews, for what you get. I got a panini and a scone, and they were both good but nothing crazy. Nice because it is right next to the station. Look out for some items that are on sale because they are older.

Alright given the lack of alternatives - Edit
Similar to other reviews, I found the sandwich to be mediocre and overpriced for what it was. A plus was that it came still warm. I got one of the vegan scones as well but wasn't blown away either.
Read moreThe coffee was quite strong in my case which might be a pro or con, depending on how you like your coffee.
The place itself is cute and easy to find from the station, but the seating is quite limited.
Pros: Clear vegan labeling, Close to the station
Cons: Food only so-so, Limited seating

Good breads and scones, okay hot food - Edit
This is a little bakery and cafe with a variety of vegan options. Though not exclusively vegan, the vegan items are clearly marked with a dark green 'V' (vegetarian items marked with a light green 'V').
Read moreThey make good, dense wholegrain vegan breads, which can be pretty hard to find in this part of the world. You can buy them by the loaf or half-loaf. They make some other baked goods as well which vary by the day, but they pretty much always have scones. The fig scones in particular are very nice.
As for their hot food, they make good coffee, but the sandwiches and toasts are just okay. They are quite small, and expensive for what you get. But it's not a bad option for a late breakfast or lunch, considering the lack of alternatives. There are two little tables inside that you can eat at.

Good bread, mediocre sandwiches - Edit
Went for lunch, got the foccatia sandwich. Bread itself was great, very earthy taste and vegan, but the filling was just some sad boiled veggies (and a very strange combo at that) and a pittyful scraping of pesto. Also got fig scone, which was amazing! One of the best I've ever had. Recommend coming if you're thinking of going to a bakery

Yummi ♥️ - Edit
Beautiful café near Okayama Station. Staff speaks good English and has a clear understanding what vegan is. Also everything is marked with a (v) on the menu. Right over the street is a small organic shop as well.

Were not sure if the spreads were vegan - Edit
We came there for sandwiches but got them only with boiled vegetables, no spread. Not really that good that way. They seemed really unsure if they were vegan but seemed to understand what vegan was.

Beautiful! - Edit
A really really cute bakery with vegan sandwiches. The coffee is great and there are some cute wooden tables and chairs to have a sit and enjoy! The perfect place for Vegans to have their breakfast in Okayama.

Lovely atmosphere - Edit
This slow-paced bakery/cafe offers many wonderful breads made with whole grains and a vegan sandwich with your choice of two spreads (both confirmed vegan). I also had a nice soy latte.
Read moreThe atmosphere is relaxing and has a hippy-ish vibe.
Not a place to visit when you're in a hurry, unless you just want to buy some bread, as the sandwiches take awhile to come out of the kitchen.
They have a small grocery across the street.
Is located a few hundred meters from JR Okayama station- close enough so that I could walk over, even with heavy luggage.
