Mislabelled menu items but helpful staff - Edit

Some menu items were not labelled correctly but the staff went out of their way to check everything for me. They were super nice. The curry is vegan and the plant based shnity is vegan but the parma wasn't even though it was labelled vegan . They said they were going to review the menu so hopefully they'll fix it soon

Busy day? - Edit

Went to The Local for lunch on a busy day and ordered the curry. Unfortunately, the rice was undercooked and crunchy and the curry was under-seasoned and consisted of grated carrot and cauliflower. They were quite busy on a lunch rush so maybe they were pressed for time. They have a vegan burger and a nacho bowl which might be worth trying but I'd avoid the curry especially as it was $28.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Expensive, Bland, Not much variety
