Just amazing

You need to try the peanut butter pie here it’s amazing!!! They also have muffins and 1 dollar vegan donuts!! With a ton of other baked goods! The burrito bowl is a must if you come here. They also serve vegan pizza (Mac and cheese pizza!) and sell vegan cakes, pies, juices, Alfredo sauce, seasoned tofu, and a variety of other dishes! In the grocery store they have a ton of different vegan yogurt and cheese and ice creams!

Pros: Delicious food, A variety of options , Friendly staff

Cons: A little bit pricey

great takeout dishes, all clearly labeled when vegan

Worcester is a hotbed for vegan dining, evidenced not only by the annual Veg Food Fest and by all the all-vegan restaurants, but by the restaurants such as Nancy Chang's that offer vegan sub-menus.

Count the takeout fridge here at Living Earth on par with any restaurant, as all the dishes are made in-house and the ample selection of vegan dishes are all clearly identified as such. I have never been disappointed with my vegan selections here. Even better than at any restaurant, you get to read the complete list of ingredients. And even better than fridge items in other health food stores trucked in, Living Earth's are dated with day of preparation, not expiration, which can be meaningless if the items were not refrigerated properly.

While some of the dishes here are more palatable if reheated at home, most can be eaten immediately. Hence, I stop here whenever on my twice-a-year visits to Worcester, some dishes to eat in Worcester, others for which I pack a cooler for dishes to take along on my 75 minute trip home to CT.

Pros: excellent vegan takeout items in the fridge units, many vegan specialties not found in other stores, beautifully redesigned interior

Decent Vegan Selections

Unlike the previous review stated - the store isn't so small that it's crowded with 5 people. The vegan muffins are great and the grab and go cooler usually has a number of vegan entrees, sides and desserts. Prices are on par with any other independent natural/health grocer. Great place to stop after hitting up the Loving Hut a couple of minutes down the street.

Pros: Lots of vegan options for a smaller store.

A little small

Yes, it's a small store, and if there are more than say 5 people inside, it can be a little hard to move around. That said, they have a lot of cool vegan things to buy (slightly pricy but this is MA after all). Their muffins are insaaaane and sometimes I go there just to grab one.

Pros: Muffins

Cons: Small

I was pleasently surprised

I shop very often at "health food" or organic markets and always enjoy checking out new ones. Its actually a guilty pleasure. Being in a smaller town outside of Boston I wasn't sure what to expect. Some of these markets have crap selection for vegans or cater more to the vitamin crowd. This had something for everyone! Gluten free baking, vegan groceries and locally made kombucha? Yes please! We even came back more than once to grab more kombucha and vegan cookies to take back with us. Great place to pick up staples and stuff to cook at home if you live in the area or are staying somewhere with a kitchen.

Pros: Great selection, Vegan cheese!, Local kombucha

Cons: Very small space, Prices a little high

Not bad for Worcester

Not a big store, but is quite well stocked and has all the essentials. Has a bulk section too although selections are limited. This is your best bet around the area since the closest Whole Foods is 30+ minutes away.

best in the area

i love this store and cafe. in the cafe, the menu is clearly marked with vegan options and there are several. there are also non-vegan options so your friends and families can all come too! the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. i can usually find most of what i want in the store!

Pros: good food, staff, good selection

Cons: not as big as whole foods
