Vegan options taken a dive. - Edit
This place had vegan food worth making a trip to! Had a very creative and tasty vegan menu and food was just top notch, made by someone with a passion for vegan food.

Not realising before driving an hour there, I was disappointed to find the same old options on offer that I could have gotten close to home (or made myself). When I go out I want to eat food that I think “wow, this is just delicious!”, not have thoughts about throwing it together myself at home.
I suppose I have been spoilt, having previously lived in Sydney and having access to next level tasty vegan options (golden lotus, southern soul etc).
The cheeseburger I got had grated cheese on it…which I found very strange. Burger was subpar and could have honestly made it better myself or even grill’d up the road do a better job.
But I guess their target is making money on meat eaters sinking a drink there, but if going with a group you’d at least have a vegan option.
Pros: Vegan options (even if they are average), Good location
Cons: New Vegan menu now unsatisfactory , Better places to eat now

Read moreMy vegan schnitzel with a party topper included "sheese" in my opinion the best mock dairy option on the basis of taste and melting.
Our garlic cheese focaccia also had this sheese and was really yummy.
My partner enjoyed their vegan burger but the serving size was quite large.
Heaps of fries.
Large vegan menu.
Wednesday is the new scnitty special night and I'll be back 🙏

Awesome options. Went with the special of the day, that being the snitty as it was down to $12.50 on Sundays. Came with chips, salad and gravy. Friendly staff too

Own vegan menu 👌👌👌 - Edit
Normal Aussie pub with a normal Aussie bistro . With a completely separate vegan menu that’s got more than enough options for anyone . Its great quality pub food ! They also have deals on like Sunday snitty night and they honour the vegan ones which is great option for a cheap yum Sunday dinner .

So many vegan options! The ginger beer battered artichoke and chips was just like ‘fish’ and chips, only better!! Loved the fried cauliflower with sweet potato purée too.

They have turned the majority of the omni menu into vegan dishes which is amazing! I ordered the Chipotle cheese burger and omg it was AMAZING! they were not stingey on the ingredients at all! Definitely recommend eating here!

Delicious pub food - Edit
Amazing to find really God typical pub grub vegan options. The chicken parmi was amazing but I think the extra price tag compared to the plain schnitzel was not worth it for the tiny layer of cheese/tomato to make it a parmi. The chicken wing sides were to die for, although more like nugget texture. They were happy for me to reserve a table outside so we could sit with the dog. Would love to come back to try more.

Well priced meals for the area, though I do feel the price doesn't wholly reflect the quality of the food. I had the Vegan Schnitzel. If you're Vegan be sure to make that clear when ordering. I noticed the bar staff entered the non-vegan schnitty while taking my order but she was of course happy to change it when I brought it up before paying. In hindsight I could have been clearer about my order. Moving on to the food... The schnitty flavour was on point, as were the accompanying chips, salad and gravy. My partner had the battered miso eggplant which was a great portion size albeit heavy on our gut which I think is to be expected by any traditional-style pub meal. I was bit offput by the security guard's attitude when he checked if we had signed in. If you're in a hurry the food can be ordered via your a delivery app (unsure which one) and you can also request 'takeaway'. All in all it was quite pleasant for a Sunday afternoon vegan feed for two under $50 including a drink each.

Four of us had lunch here today and we all raved about our meals. They have a dedicated Vegan menu (apparently the sous chef is vegan) with lots of choice. Went with the cheese burger and wasn’t disappointed.
