Wasn’t too impressed

The ladies that work here are lovely and the management is kind. However I was disappointed with the food. I am vegan and I brought my mom and boyfriend along who are not. They ordered the breakfast bowl which they said was quite bland. My mom wanted sauce because of this and the only one available was Tabasco. She asked for jam for her toast as she decided to leave the rest of her food and that was also not available. I ordered the avo toast with tofu and found it very average. Initially when I ordered, the waitress said there was no tofu but it would be delivered if I wanted to wait and I did since it was the reason I chose the restaurant. We tried the orange, carrot and pineapple juice and none of us enjoyed it. Very disappointed to see that milk alternatives are charged for at an exorbitant additional expense- R10 extra for almond /oat. R5 for soya but they told me that was out of stock too. We had an americano coffee which was okay and the waitress brought me some almond milk on the side for free which I did not order which was kind of her. Unfortunately, as much as the staff were nice, I’m not sure I would come back and pay the prices I did for the food that was served :(

The perfect place for a chilled meal

I only have good things to say about this place. The food is divine (had a nice toast with banana, strawberry and nut butter with almond cappuccino), the service is great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The perfect place for a nice chilled Saturday morning, away from the city's hustle and bustle. Since I don't live far, I'm definitely going to spend many Saturday mornings at The Jozi Girl eatery. Highly recommend.

Vegan’s Dream

So nice to have a Vegan/Vegetarian eatery in the heart of Fourways.

Pros: Amazing Vegan menu!, Intimate venue: Great for a birthday breakfast! , Consistently good quality food

Great place

Great for a light lunch or snack, the smoothy and vegan banana loaf was fantastic. Would be so great to see even more vegan options in the future
