Serves meat, vegan options available. A traditional pub overlooking the harbour with a restaurant upstairs. Serves 2 main meals listed as 'vegan' on the menu. Removed Sep 2021 - no longer serves food.
Went around 4pm with no one in the dinning room but the food was really good. Their are only two vegan options but tons for vegetarians and everyone else. Prices are reasonable. The staff dropped off the food and didn’t check up on us however.
We were with our little boy looking for somewhere to eat that would cater for vegans. We were delighted to come across the menu outside this pub which stated that two of the main meals were vegan: A quinoa and edamame burger with salad and chips, and a Thai curry with rice. With the curry you could add a naan bread and they had stated clearly on the menu that the naan bread was not vegan, which immediately gave us the reassurance that they knew what they were talking about, and that they understood what vegan meant. We went in and had the burger and chips, which was absolutely delicious! The guy running it was so friendly and brought us water and an extra plate for our little boy so he could share my food. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though this place serves meat I would recommend it to vegans as they clearly understood what vegan meant and the meal we were presented with was beautiful.
