Really tasty! - Edit
This is a really nice pub with an interesting selection of vegan options. They could have a larger selection of vegan starters and desserts but the ones they do have are tasty.
Read moreFor starters I got the Cluckless Curry Goujons which were really good – the chicken substitute had a lovely texture and flavour, and the sauce was delicious.
For my main I got the Avo Cluckless Burger. I thought it was tasty and I enjoyed the chips that came with it which were nice and crispy. I also liked that they used a different meat substitute to the starter even though it was "chicken" again. It provided some variety and I felt like it showed they had put a bit of effort into constructing the vegan options.
For dessert I had the Cookie-Butter Cheesecake. Again it was tasty and I also really enjoyed the vegan ice cream that came with it.
My mother-in-law also had the vegan Mushroom Suet Pudding for her main (despite being non-vegan herself) and she really enjoyed that as well!
Pros: Tasty food, Cosy pub, Interesting options
Cons: Limited vegan starter and dessert options
