A very nice evening - Edit
Had a very nice dinner here. There were three vegan options on the menu - I had the burger and my partner had the fish and chips. Both were very nice and generously portioned, although I found the burger sauce a bit too vinegary. Looked like they had some vegan dessert options too although we were too full to try them!

Good banana blossom fish and chips - Edit
There is an optional additional cost for curry sauce, which I'd definitely recommend trying. Staff were nice, but got the order wrong a couple of times - brought meat fish over instead of vegan fish and charged incorrectly for wine twice as they said the menu is not up-to-date with correct prices. It was very busy on the weekend so would need to book.

Disappointed - Edit
After reading the reviews here about the Vegan fish & chips - I gave it a go. Unfortunately I found the fish (banana blossom) was stringy / chewy impossible to cut, although the batter was nice. No particular response from the staff, which didn’t encourage me to order a sweet.
Read morePros: Peas were nice., Local alcohol free IPA was great.
Cons: Dry stottie., Hard butter.

Fish and chips - Edit
The fish and chips here were brilliant. Huge portion, really well seasoned, Tartare sauce was a great addition too. We got gyoza dumplings as a starter too which was tasty. A really beautiful pub with lots of seating, and a nice beer garden

Cons: Could be more vegan options

Amazing food, great atmosphere - Edit
As others have said this is a great pub to visit and the vegan fish and chips is amazing. We also had the vegan gyoza and the pea soup to start which were delicious. Food is well priced and staff were very friendly and attentive. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Great fish&chips - Edit
The vegan fish&chips (around 13 GBP) are great. They come with mushy peas and a tartar sauce. The outside seating is lovely. At the time of this review their opening hours are limited, so check beforehand

Must try amazing Vegan Fish and Chips, can't stress this enough. Its in a great location to go for a walk and then in for a bit to eat. Friendly staff, quick service and doggy friendly. There is no parking outside unless you have disabled badge but there is parking along the road with short 2 minute walk.
