Comrades In Arms

Nice welcoming and relaxing cafe just a shame the bombay roll I ordered was bland and dry. Sweet options looked good though and everything was clearly labelled.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options , Staff, Vibe

Cons: My food was bland and dry, Serves meat, dairy

Good choices

At least three vegan wraps that are clearly marked and all sound delicious. Moroccan one was nice but a little dry as others have noted. They offered hummus (from a supermarket pot) to go with it so are maybe improving on handling the dryness but it would be better with something saucier. Staff seem nice, if a bit baked. WiFi didn’t work. Toilets were locked.

Good space to work if the WiFi worked.

Pros: Good vegan options, Good price, Good portion sizes

Cons: Broken WiFi

Good place for chatting/working

International Comrades is a friendly coffee shop, with lots of space inside, clearly intended for meeting up with folks or doing a bit of work.

It's not a "full" food menu, they focus on the coffee, but they always have these vegan pastry "rolls" in three flavours. The rolls are tasty and filling, though they're a bit dry (could they add some raita, tomato ragout, or something else moist?). They also have sourdough sandwiches, including one vegan one when I went. The coffee's good too.

Pros: Coffee, Space, Rolls

Cons: The rolls are a bit dry
