Cosy pub with a fully vegan menu Wed, Thur & Sun. Offers vegan burgers, wraps and small plates such as cheezy chilli fries, crispy cajun chick*n and breaded garlic mushrooms. Note that the pub serves non-vegan food on other days, although throughout July 2024 the kitchen is only open on these days. Open Mon 17:00-23:00, Tue 17:00-00:00, Wed-Fri 17:00-01:00, Sat 16:00-01:00, Sun 17:00-23:00. Pub open seven days a week, vegan menu offered Wed-Fri only.

Gar nicht verrückt, sondern lecker - Edit

Ein richtiger Pub, der an drei Tagen in der Woche eine rein vegane Speisekarte hat. Der Besuch lohnt sich, denn die Burger Zwiebelringe und Fritten waren wirklich sehr gut. Geht oft hin, vielleicht werden dann aus drei Tagen noch mehr. 😉

Love the junk - Edit

If you're on the hunt for health food, this place might not be for you. But if you're after some seriously good comfort food, you're in for a treat! Set inside the quirky Mad Hatter, I had the kebab fries with a side of onion rings (because they count as part of my five a day, right?).

The fries were tasty, messy, and packed a bit of heat. I especially loved the pickled chillies on top – they added the perfect kick. The onion rings were decent, and after soaking them in vinegar and ketchup, they were tip-top.

Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re around Haymarket, and only about a 10-minute walk from the city centre. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving something indulgent!

Hearty vegan junk food - Edit

This pop-up kitchen at the Mad Hatter has a varied menu with lots of vegan junk options like burgers, wraps, kebabs and fries. I had the 'Hatter burger' which was pretty good. My friends had wraps and small plates, which all looked great. The portions are very generous. Perfect place if you want a decent feed in the West End.
