Relaxed atmosphere, nice staff and several vegan options

This is a nice place for having some lunch or a coffee. There are several vegan dishes on the menu. You can also get oatmilk with your coffee with no extra costs. The place was a bit crowded and I had to wait a few minutes before having a seat. The staff was super friendly. Recommended!

Pros: Good vegan options, Nice atmosphere , Friendly staff

Cons: A little bit crowded

Great spot in the area

Got some sage potato cakes, and asked for an side of haggis (vegan as well) cause I never had some before! I loved everything on my plate. The place is also very nice and the staff friendly.

Nice lunch in a busy location

We have been there for a late lunch and had to queue for a short while. There have been a few options (Vegan Fish Finger Sandwich and Potato Cakes) which have been good and filled quite good together with the hand cut chips.
Unfortunately the last vegan cake was already sold out ☹️

Quality, imaginative vegan fish & chips

What a great find! Loved this cafe/chippy which had such a friendly vibe and really tasty battered tofu, realchips, katsu mushroom burger, tartare sauce and more. It’s not a vegan place but their options are genuine and properly thought through. No vegan desserts but do ask as they rustled up a delicious sundae for us. Great local beer on tap too.

Pros: Really tasty proper vegan options, Lovely community venue, Kind and thoughtful staff

Lunch

A lovely little cafe with a really chill creative vibe, prints for sale and quiet music. The food was ace very well presented with a few vegan options. We had tofish and chips and lentil and potato cakes with pesto and broccoli. Both were beautifully presented and really tasty!

Pros: Food, Atmosphere , View

Crowded Restaurant

A Restaurant with crowded inside space, two tables outside.
There are around 5 vegan options which taste delicious, we did not have to wait long although many people had ordered. The waiters were nice, the cashier was quite stressed and for this reason a bit rude.
All in all a nice place to have lunch

Great for lunch after a hike

This cozy place offers some vegan options, all declared as vegan (ve on the menu). Great place to have lunch after a hike in the area.
We got the potato cakes and the soup of the day, which were very tasty.
We also took a walnut coffee cake and a Biscoff cupcake for take-away, that were both delicious!

Wonderful place in this region

We were so happy to find this place after coming back from a hike!

The staff was super friendly and pointed out options that could be veganised (in addition to the clearly labeled meals).

It's just the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Good views and music included.

Perfect after a hike

The menu is small but contains multiple vegan items plus there are always vegan specials as well. Everything was delicious, including the cake.

Cosy place with vegan meals and cakes

Has a small menu, half of it is vegan. Quesadillas were delicious, as was the biscoff cake.

Yummy lunch

This café like restaurant is the perfect stop after hiking the North on Skye. We had Quesadillas, most amazing chai latte, iced coffee and some cupcakes - which were very very sweet, as everything in the UK so be careful.

Pros: Amazing chai latte, Quite some vegan options , Friendly and warm atmosphere

Very tasty vegan options!

100% worth a visit if you are on Skye. Half of their menu is Vegan.
We stopped in for lunch - they now offer dine in services for lunch, and a different takeaway menu in then evening.

Between us we had the vegan haggis enchiladas, potato and onion hotcakes, the vegan toasted sandwich and some patatas bravas
Everything was delicious with big portions.
Plant based milk options available too.

Would love to leave 5 ⭐️ but as they serve meat etc the app wont let me.
We will definitely we back to sample their evening menu 😋

I only stopped by for a coffee and some cake and was really happy to see they had some vegan cake (a very yummy orange loaf). Also oat milk for the coffee.

2 nice vegan options

You can have here vegan haggis and vegan fish and chips! Nothing else around vegan so it’s worth it!

Tasty

The Hungry Gull is takeaway only at the moment due to Covid. An up to date menu can be found on their Facebook page and it's best to call ahead with your order. Took about 10 minutes for them to make our food, and we just followed the Drive Thru signs and picked up from the back door.
We had tofu and chips which was delicious, and the vegan tartare sauce was lovely, I would have added some mushy peas if I'd had the choice to, which would have been a nice addition.
Proprietor recommended we drive down the road to the beach front to eat, which we was a great idea and much appreciated.
They also had a vegan haggis option with an Indian slant to it which we definitely would have gone for if we'd not already had haggis for breakfast and dinner.

Pros: Couple of options

Yummy place with a few vegan options

Currently only doing takeaway but I think they usually have sit in seats as well, there were some picnic benches nearby that we sat at. We just had the salt and chilli chips which were really good! But they also had to-fish (tofu) and vegan haggis balls on the menu that sounded very nice! They also had a food truck in Staffin as well😄
