Delicious breakfast - Edit
A short stroll down the seafront, a great place for vegan breakfast. The menu changes to lunch at 12, which I didn’t see, but I bet they have lots of great options, too.

We waited about 20min after being seated for menus/to have our orders taken but were ignored. Locals obviously took priority. It wasn’t a busy time. Only a couple other tables were taken. Left before wasting the rest of our lunchtime away.

Disappointing visit - Edit
Came here hoping for coffee and cake after a seaside walk. Very dog friendly which was great. On ordering staff weren’t sure what was vegan as no cakes were labelled as so but were happy to check. Only 1 vegan cake as they were out of a lot so we ordered this to share. Ordered an ice coffee with oat milk, came back to tell us they had ran out of ice and oat milk. Ordered a canned drink for them to come back and say they had run out of that too. Understandable as it was late in the day but would have been easier if the member of staff knew what they had and didn’t have. Eventually settled on 2 drinks and the cake to share and the cake never arrived. Wouldn’t recommend to other vegans until staff knowledge improved.

Wonderful seaside Hideaway - Edit
A favourite this former ice cream parlour cafe because they have always been so accommodating when asking for a vegan alternative. So delighted to find that they now have vegan and vegetarian options on their menu and are promoting their eco friendly ethos so prominently. Best jackfruit burger I have tasted! Fresh mint leaf tea, what a treat on a hot sticky day. Great outside seating area. Might be worth booking a table as will get very busy in Summer.
