Perfect vegan food and ambiance - Edit
Lovely lovely cafe with a friendly welcome and a bit of gorgeous quirkiness to it. Love the layout and the little nooks and crannies. A shelf of books and games. And the Herb Big Breakfast and Breakfast Burrito were AMAZING. I don't think we need to eat for 3 days!

Prepare to drool 🤤 - Edit
Just moved to Lancaster, went to the Herb for brunch with my partner. There was so much choice we got things to share!!! We went for the savoury breakfast stack - absolutely delish - and the sweet caramel and chocolate pancakes!! They also do a selection of home made cakes; I’m currently snacking on the cappuccino cake I got to go. (I’ve not yet had a vegan cake that’s not been dry - this is lovely and moist and full of flavour).

loveliness itself - Edit
A witty and lovely reclamation of what used to be a hunting-shooting-fishing shop as a vegan haven. The food is inventive and delicious - beautiful cakes, light meals and soups. The atmosphere is chilled and welcoming; it's rare to find a public space so calm. They also run film events and yoga classes in different spaces in this lovely ramshackle building. It's a fabulous place.

New favourite place to go - Edit
It has such a nice vibe in this place. Everything feels rustic and homely. The tables are nice and big so I’d like to go here to study. The plates and cups are all in a nice style that suits the feel of the place well. They even have a “snug” area with low-down sofas, cushions and books. I’ve added pictures for people to see! Everything is vegan here so it’s nice to not worry about what you’re ordering. The cake I had was SO good too! Can’t wait to visit again 😊

Lovely tea, coffee and cakes - Edit
Made my first visit to The Herbarium this week for a catch up with my sister in law. We thought it was lovely here. Nice relaxed atmosphere, and bright and cozy on a dark winters afternoon. The choice of drinks was excellent, and the blood orange tea, and the earlgrey tea were good. I also had a cappuccino with coconut milk, also good. We got the last piece of carrot cake, no wonder, as it was moist and fruity and really tasty. We'll definitely be back here.

Best vegan spot in Lancaster - Edit
I would highly recommend any vegan (and non-vegan) to come to this cafe/restaurant if you're in Lancaster. The food tasted incredible, the drinks menu was extensive and the decor/style/vibe was so pretty. The staff were lovely as well.

Lovely little cafe - Edit
Very tasty and hearty freshly made lunches. Excellent bread. Devine hot chocolate. Relaxing, welcoming and safe space with snug to rear; basically furnished and fitted with beautiful chunky crockery and the odd wobbly table. Reasonably priced. Central location.

Lovely lunch - Edit
Came with my son and daughter and we had a lovely lunch - sandwiches for them and a lovely courgette and sweetcorn fritter (GF and delicious). The lavender tea was surprisingly tasty as was the Moroccan mint. Fab atmosphere - relaxed and comfy.
