Reasonably priced food close to the park - Edit
Very impressed with this vegetarian cafe. I had a coronation tofu wrap, going to try and make it at home! Close to Pavilion Gardens if you want to eat in the park. Lovely friendly owner. Old school cheap eats, reminds me of the vegetarian cafes of the 90s before they all got poncey and expensive. Varied menu and takeouts in recyclable packaging

Lovely little place - Edit
Not much room we got lucky. Holds 8 inside and a couple of tables outside for daytime. We both had the Bowls of Goodness (1 coronation tofu and 1 crispy tofu). Delicious!

Good selection of vegetarian and vegan foods. Coronation tofu was excellent and well as the special chickpea pie. Our waiter/the owner is very enthusiastic and a pleasure to be served by.

Charming find in Buxton - Edit
A small cafe offering some well thought out veggie and vegan dishes. Cakes looked really good and were popular when we visited.

The Herb Garden is very small, I would guess at about 10 people, and it's full, so best to book.

Friendly vegetarian cafe in centre of Buxton - Edit
I had a stir fry. Very tasty and cooked from fresh. Lots of healthy vegan options to choose from. Portion size was generous leaving no room to try the delicious home cooked cakes on offer. I will be back to sample the cake soon! Reasonable prices, highly recommend a visit.

Visited the Herb Garden on a Monday lunch time, very friendly staff, quick service and good food at a reasonable price. I had a Bowl of Goodness with crispy Tofu and a slice of custard cake, all vegan.

Dinner and a cake - Edit
I had the bowl of goodness Buddha bowl - I wouldn’t get this again, also tried the soup which was lovely and the French bread pizza which was ok. I had a peppermint tea as the chai wasn’t vegan plus we shared the vanilla sponge cake and the cherry and almond cake, both delicious. It all came to £22.70, so very reasonable. Service was great, cafe was small so I would recommend booking. There’s free parking outside if you can get it for an hour or you can use the pay and display at Waitrose and it’s a 5 minute walk.

Came for brunch whilst visiting Buxton and heard good reviews prior to visiting so thought we’d give it a try. Immediately we were made to feel very welcome by the owners; they were very friendly and chatty. The food we ordered was fresh and cooked to order, the vegan burger and the Dahl I would both recommend.

Lovely welcoming cafe with delicious vegan food - Edit
This little cafe is well worth a visit, with lovely vegetarian and vegan food options including daily specials and cakes there is something for everyone. We are vegan and had the burger and quesadillas which were both delicious, especially the burger. Very good value for money, and lots of love and attention given to making interesting options. The service was excellent, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. We had a lovely long chat with the owner and the whole place felt very homely. Whenever we go back to Buxton we will certainly pay another visit!

Great Bistro - Edit
Compact but cozy eating area, nicely furnished and had a really nice feel to it. Nice spread of food choices on the menu, mostly vegan with some vegetarian, all reasonably priced and a selection of cakes to finish. Big pots of tea and a proper tea cup. Service was excellent, polite and quick and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back and look forward to trying one of the special bistro nights.

I had a dhal and hot-chocolate, which were both very tasty. The hot-chocolate was particuarly nice😄The cafe owner was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to both vegans and non-vegans and we fully intend to come again :)
