Great Pasta in a nice atmosphere 🍝 - Edit
Vegan Lasagne no longer on the menu!
Read moreFinally a good pasta. A welcome break once in a while in-between all the amazing Viet food
🍝🌱 Vegan Mushroom Pasta (140k | 5.6$)
Creamy, savoury and delicious. Portion size could be a bit bigger
🍝🍅 Cherry Tomato Pasta (125k | 5$)
Tasty if you like the sauce less pasta style
The atmosphere is nice with dimmed warm lights💡and a nice nostalgic interior.
Needs some love and care though as it's a bit run down and dirty here and there.

Hidden Gem! - Edit
I'm so glad I found this spot as the location is sooo pretty! Both the second floor balcony and the terrace are so green and lovely, plus the kittens! I had the Tofu Sandwich with Vegan Aioli and coleslaw and it was a good 9/10!! Would def recommend!!

Chips! - Edit
Only had fries and mushroom taco things from this place as it was a cheeky beer stop but the chips were a must try. Reminded me of home cooked chips.

5 stars! - Edit
I had vegan mushroom pasta and my friend had lentil pasta (both spaghetti) and they were both amazing. Lots of veggie choices, staff are so lovely and speak very good English. I also had a gluten free chocolate cake for dessert which was lovely. Highly recommend. The vibe was great as well, very cosy

Place beautiful, food ok - Edit
Staff was really friendly. Some vegan dishes, but the food was only ok I would say. The vegan pasta with mushroom was creamy, but I didn’t quite like the mushrooms. Quite pricy for Vietnam, I paid 140.000 for the noodles.

Beautiful rooftop - Edit
I really liked the rooftop garden, was a nice place to spent some time and drinks some drinks, I can really recommend the lime and mint slushy !! We ate the veggie burger (ask for them to make it vegan) and the vegan lasagne. I really liked the burger, the lasagne was alright- you’ll love it if you like eggplant! The staff was very very friendly!

Mediocre food - Edit
Once I arrived in Hanoi around 2015 the food used to be good. Now, I don't go back here anymore as the food became very mediocre.
Read moreThe last time I took a veggie burger. There was absolutely no flavor on it. Also the polenta fries were very tasteless. I didn't finish my meal, it was super disappointing.
Also they have never updated the menu since I first came there. It seems like they do not want to improve.
Pros: Great variety of veg options
Cons: Flavorless

I had pasta with lentils, it was good, but really nothing special. They have a traditional Vietnamese coconut spring roll - very nice! Also good wine

The staff is really friendly, helpful and speaks English. It is possible to veganize the veggie burger if you ask. The food is really tasty and the portions are huge.

I love the feel of this restaurant. I went up to the third floor "Gypsy Camp" which I had all to myself. Ordered the vegan lasagne which was huge and tasted great, along with the tempe sandwich. It was good but the bread was very oily.

Massive portions and excellent atmosphere! - Edit
My boyfriend and I visited here twice during our stay in Hanoi. The first time I had the veggie burger and the second time we both had vegan lasagne. All delicious! The vegan lasange portion was huge! They also have tofu chips available as a snack which looked a bit like plain Doritos and went really well with a beer! Their black iced Vietnamese coffee was intense (in a good way). It's very strong and you get a mini jug of sugar syrup to sweeten it to your taste. I was flagging when we went in to the restaurant after a long day sight seeing but that coffee perked me up almost instantly! It is not for the faint hearted! We also had a yummy snack which was basically coconut and sugared sesame seeds wrapped in ?rice paper. There were perfect paired with the coffee!

Ok food and atmosphere but expensive and chaotic - Edit
The place could be really nice, but lacks in vegan options... the soy milk was clumpy. It was pretty crowded and a bit chaotic due to wrong orders etc. The staff was exceptionally friendly. As a vegan there are better places for a better price. But the menu looked good and interesting for non-vegans.

So good! - Edit
Small cute little Cafe. Just devoured the tempeh rueben sandwich which I really enjoyed and hubby as a meat eater ordered the chicken laksa which he also enjoyed. My entire vietnam trip has been spring rolls, noodles, vegetables rice and tofu or vegetable banh mi so this was a great change. Ordered the vegan pavlova also as rarely eat dessert and fid not dissapoint.

Splendid place to dine and unwind. Love the fact that they owners leave random musical instruments at the punters whim to pick up and play. Food is excellent, from the chia pudding bowls to the savoury rice, bean and avocado dishes.
