Greyhound Salad, AWESOME place! ♥ - Edit
I stopped by the cafe as my family and I were staying in Malvern for the holiday. I heard about the vegan cafe through HappyCow, but was so excited to see it in person. For starters the cafe is so hip, and the interior design is so welcoming, it's super spacious and can fit a lot of people. The greeters, cooks, everyone that works there are so happy and are so welcoming. You can tell they love what they do, and love the cause (veganism).
Read moreThe prices were fair (but super high quality, and always fresh. They usually make the food right in front of you ☺) and most of their ingredients are ORGANIC which is always a great thing.
NOW THE FOOD.
BTW everything in the cafe is VEGAN, then entire menu. Sadly, my camera went for a swim in the ocean while I was away on the trip so my pictures of the awesome food is currently not available. But, I can say, that it was truly amazing.
When I first went there, (I made two trips to The Greyhound Cafe) the first trip I ordered the Greyhound salad (w/mushrooms, and avocado), and a raw cashew cheesecake. The salad itself was AMAZING! It was refreshing, and though it was super healthy, it was indulgent, comforting, and filling. There was a cashew drench, and healthy vegan cheese tossed on top as well which dressed the salad, and gave it amazing flavor (There were also homemade tortilla chips tossed on top, which was a plus!). Then there was the raw cheesecake, which truthfully was the first time I ever tried a raw cheesecake before. They plated the cake so elegantly with berries, and mint. But, I ordered it for takeout, and sat in the car too long that it melted, but that's soley on me. Though, honestly I still it, and it was AMAZING. The crust was my favorite, it was so naturally sweet and filling. Hard to explain, but if you're raw and around the area, this by far is the best place to go if you're vegan, or raw.
Then the second time I went, I was once again greeted by friendly faces, and my mother (who's not vegan, even ordered herself a Greyhound Salad w/vegan meat, and avocado ♥). I of course ordered the same salad, and it was once again AMAZING!
So, if you're stopping by King of Prussia, or you're around Wayne area or farther just known, IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE, PROMISE :)
THANKS GUYS FOR BEING SO WELCOMING AND AWESOME! I KNOW WHENEVER I COME BACK TO PA, I WILL BE VISITING AGAIN FOR ONE OF THOSE AWESOME GREYHOUND SALAD.

Wonderful Vegan Cafe - Edit
I visited The Greyhound Cafe last evening with a friend. It was fabulous! I was appreciative of our gracious welcome, the delicious food and lovely environment. I'm looking forward to returning and spreading the word! Many thanks to Joseph, Noemie and everyone who makes this compassionate and wonderful place so special.

Average food but has potential - Edit
The staff was very friendly and the owner greeted everyone personally, which was nice. The food quality was only average, mostly because the flavors were bland and they just used Gardein products to carry the weight of the dishes without putting a lot of effort into the rest of the dish. I also think that for the quality of food you get, the restaurant is overpriced (e.g., the chicken parmesan dish is just a Gardein meat substitute with marinara sauce and "cheese" on top and a bit of pasta with nothing on top of it).
Read moreIf the restaurant put a bit more thought into their seasonings and made the dishes more involved by adding different kinds of vegetables, sauces, etc., it could be a good option.

Homemade food - Edit
Everything is fresh & homemade including the vegan cheese. It couldn't get any fresher then this. I love the combination of Mexican & Italian style food. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. The owner always greeting everyone.

Tried a little of everything and it was all very good. The Caesar salad was a standout! Love the all vegan menu anyone can enjoy. Great service too :)

Fantastic food even if you're not a vegan - Edit
I am not Vegan, however my wife has been vegan now for 10 months. She has struggled to find tasty food that fits her vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free dietary needs. We came to the Greyhound Cafe for her birthday and the food was fantastic. As a non vegan, I was prepared to be disappointed, however the food was terrific and I didn't feel like I sacrificed my foodie desires in the least. The mock Caesar salad was as good as any salad I have had and the Chicken Nachos were outstanding as well. If you are looking for a healthy restaurant that doesn't skimp on taste, make sure you visit the Greyhound Cafe

excellent vegan food - Edit
We found this place on Happy cow and since there are not many all vegan places around we decided it was a must try. So glad we did. The chef came out and introduced himself. Chatted about the food and different vegan cheeses and such. The food was excellent. Fresh, well prepared and delish! We will be back to try more on the menu. So many things to choose from!

I drove out to the Greyhound café from Harrisburg Pennsylvania took me about an hour and a half to get here. The restaurant was very nice the food was even better and service was great got to meet the chef this place is amazing I'll totally be back again

execution is part of good food - Edit
We were puzzled by the food styles, but the crab cakes got my attention. Had the enchilada, wife had the taco salad, and kids had 'meat lovers' pizza. The flavors were not over the top, but just solid. You could taste every piece of the dish. I've never eaten beans rice and an enchilada so slow. Meats have great texture and presentation is great. The meats with the pizza could use a little more something, but I'm not sure what.
